I got ICQ back in the day around 96/97 I think? Yeah, I don't use it ever and now I use google talk if I really need to use an IM service. I either use Kopete or Pidgin to interface with those services. I use IRSSI for good old CLI IRC. ( View formatted comment » )
I have played just about every type of online game. Most of the time your stats are saved on the server you are playing unless you are playing on a console. It comes out 3-4 volumes a year is the reason I don't read them. I don't like to wait for the rest of the story. Which is why when I read things as part of a multi volume set I wait for all the volumes to be out before reading. When the completed set is available I'll try and buy it then.
