Happy New Year Dude! I bought a lot of Gunpla last 2008, but I think I managed to build quite a few.. namely my MG Strike Freedom,MG Destiny,1/100 Dynames and Kyrios and maybe my MG Nu Gundam... my MG RX-78-2 Ver. 2, is still waiting to be built though along with my R3 Layzner...

OOH, hope something like this happens here as well... The closest thing was a Toys R' Us sale where they sold an MG Zeong for 500 Pesos, that is almost equivalent to 1000 Yen or roughly $10. Anyways, last summer worked part time (or you can say that it was training) at an Educational Magazine company(?) where I wrote articles for High school kiddies, I guess the pay was okay since I was able to buy a lot of stuff and save a lot while I was still there. But the problem was, I left many games dangling, left my gundams untouched and didn't see my friends much. But, I guess that was an okay experience being able to peek into the life of a working adult.

I for one hate it. Not that I hate Minato(in fact I like her more than Yuuhi) or siscon endings, but it's because of the fact that they wasted many episodes in telling how Yuuhi and Jun progressed as a potential couple. So many people were led to the conclusion that those two are gonna end up together. But, what do we get an ending with an almost undeveloped character! Sure we know that Minato loves her "brother", isn't there anything else to tell about her? Her conflicting feelings, how her love for Jun developed and such other things. You know it would have been good if the both them had equal exposure and development all through out the series.

So, yeah all in all I'm very disappointed n the ending. ( View formatted comment » )

Belated Merry Christmas everyone and an advanced Happy New Year (at least for the most of us)

I've had a Merry Christmas with my family and friends, sung with our choir during masses and ate a lot of my mom's cooking. And I received amoderate amount of moolah and lots of shirts from my relatives and sister, my parents gave me a new pair of shoes, and I was able to buy a nendo haruhi for half price, and bought myself an MG RX-78 version 2.

Dude, don't be afraid to use the shoulder decals. Tape is your best friend when t comes to dry transfer decals, be confident dude you can do it! Besides, the F91 markings is one of the MS's distinguishing features!

I remember the first time when I applied decals, It was with my MG NT-1. I was so nervous putting that big "ALEX" mark on the shield , but everything went well. ( View formatted comment » )

Because of the Nanoha fanboy that I am I loved all of her figures.
The Lucky Star cheer leading squad is also good, I loved the pose of the twins XD

The sense in buying a model kit (IMO) is being able to experience the fun of building the kit yourself, no matter what kind of result ensues. As a budding modeler, I'm confident that I'm slowly improving, though I'm not that magnificent yet. If ever I become a "godly" modeler, sure I'll sell my work...

As for buying a ready made model... I would gladly buy those that won the BAKUC, or some those that came from that machine like modeler named Keita..Dang, I sure love his custom Nu Gundam!! ( View formatted comment » )
