I think a lot of people can relate to what you said Danny. Surprisingly there are so many comments, which mean that going through hard times is a common ordeal. Reading some of the comments make me feel that my troubles are maybe not that bad after all. As per last time I mentioned this, I was going through a bit of a dilemma and although the advice seems to be quite generic, what you said was some nice comfort and made me think outside my usual square. I backup regularly from TM, although the last time I needed a special file TM didn't actually catch it. I set the backup to once a day only and only when the drives are connected. Because I am afraid that the drives may die from over use, I decided to not connect them all the time. I've had my Mac for abit of a year now and have loved it. Yup, absolutely love using OSX. The only thing I dislike is I can't get this CUPS printing thing to work with my printers. Think its because the drivers do not match. Anyway, Adium is the program of choice as I found MSN for mac too bulky. ( View formatted comment » )

Unfortunately I was in a similar situation to you. Didn't get to take any lessons I could not afford to go. Was also not sent to chinese school because I actually refused to go back then since it was at a church. How I regret that now! In Australia, it is very tax heavy. We have several layers of tax. On all goods, there is Goods & Services Tax, otherwise known as GST of 10% on all items except for a few essential things like condoms, medicines, milk and the like. We also have one of the highest income tax in the world. Everyone is taxed a different amount in the fiscal year depending on your salary.
