The stupid new ERP at Eunos just went up yesterday. Now is an additional 1 dollar to ERP for my daily trip in addition to the already 4 bucks ERP. That is not an Happy meal, it's a extra value meal! ( View formatted comment » )

That softbank shop always has a sales girl at the entrance talking to herself since no one ever listens. Finally the crowd arrives to hear her. ( View formatted comment » )

Those really expensive DSLR have a shutter release option where the shutter opens till you press the shutter again. For the more common DSLRs, you can get a remote that has a shutter release that does the same thing. You can get nice star trails if you stay in an area with little lights, else city light the make the sky way too bright. ( View formatted comment » )

Just a note, gorillapods may not be able to support a DSLR weight if a heavy lens is attached. ( View formatted comment » )

Can't wait to see it finished. As for me, I do my vectors and colouring in Illustrator. Find it easier than in photoshop. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm using the nikon 18-200. From the reviews, it seems to be the best 18-200 lens among the brands. Beside the lens creep from heavy usage, I have no other complains. (It will not creep if lens is at the extreme) Slight softness at the 200mm if you pixel peep, but still very acceptable. The VR is simply amazing, much better than my Nikon 18-55mm VR. I kept my 18-55mm even though I have my 18-200mm because I though there may be a time I prefer a lighter and smaller lens, but that never happen. If you travel alot and need conveni... Don't think he did that, because at high f-number, it will be sharp and long starbust. High f-numbers like f32 are good for dark scenes with many point lights, giving the fascinating effect, but in normal "bright" places it will give poorer contrast and less vibrant picture. I am using a Nikon with a 18-200mm f3.2-5.6 Vibration reduction for travel and is excellent. I just came back from my 25days Japan trip bring only that lens and I took 26gb of 8mp jpgs. Recommend you get that lens for your Canon, and I'm sure it will be enough motivation to bring your camera around and take lots of photos. ( View formatted comment » )

When I do presentations I always makes sure that I know my slides inside out, so that within 5 mins into my presentations, I will lose the nervousness by becoming absorbed in telling ppl what I have been passionately about. Hope you get what I mean. ( View formatted comment » )

They have a whole range of quality with the price tag to go with it. I'm sure students get the cheapest, and unfortunately those really do not last. ( View formatted comment » )
