I woul've almost sticked to Canon again for a compact camera but decided to get me a Panasonic Lumix, it might be a bit noisier but the wide angle lens makes up for it (or so I hope - will see when it arrives tomorrow^^)

well, no matter how "good" a dub might be it never gets as close to the original. Something is always better in its least altered version. Also a reason i dont't watch American TV dubbed to German. But if I have to compare the quality of TV shows/movies from the US dubbed in German(which, since there are a lot of them showing on TV here, really could be considered ok), to English Anime dubs, later are a lot worse. I too prefer mine undubbed, still need the subs though since my Japanese Vocabulary is still lacking. Actually, I thought anime was terrible for the longest time, which was mostly because of dubs if i look back. If you think English dubs are bad, you don't even want to know how German dubs sound( Just think of how much you loose when you dub into English and then take that ^2) I became hooked on Anime only after I started getting interested in Japanese as a language, which is kindof a backwards way of ge... Have this one too, sadly the painting on mine was really bad (she has swimmsuit blue all over her neck), which was a disappointment, with the figure beeing Alter made and all. And i don't know if trying to wipe it off with paint remover or anything would make it worse. =/ Anyone have any experience with with this kind of thing maybe? ^^; ( View formatted comment » )

Mine was, or rather is a MG Gundam Unicorn. Worst Choice for a First Time Gunpla since painting and even Coating had to be done with every pice seperatly thanks to the scattered transparent-ish parts everywhere, and with my not yet existing painting skills it turned out really bad :( - prolly gonna redo this one after i get some more practice ( View formatted comment » )

Figures are the coolest room decorations I can think of - love having them make my room look nicer.( added nerdyness included^^; )
And since I do watch loads of fansubbed Anime, I don't really buy too much of the shows i have seen on Dvd when they're released over 100 years after seeing the anime; Instead I just spend all my money on figures of shows/characters I really liked. ( View formatted comment » )

I definetly have plans to start work in Japan once I finish my Diploma. But I'm starting to fear that my study subject might be a bit limiting on places to work at. Aerospace isn't something you can do without beeing bound to specific places and I'm sure it isn't that easy to get into one of those, especially as a foreigner. ( View formatted comment » )
