I like IRC the most. I sometimes connect to AIM and MSN, through bitlbee. ( View formatted comment » )

This is the first I've heard someone wanting them smaller. For the price they are, they seem hefty enough. And of course, I know some who wish they were bigger ^^ ( View formatted comment » )

I've been told that (my nendoroid) Al Azif's blob represents pee. This isn't helping prove otherwise xD ( View formatted comment » )

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postprandial_dip apparently I'm sometimes in the "irresistable drowsiness" pool. Lunch can put me to sleep half an hour later and I could never figure out exactly why, though lately I haven't been affected... Could it be that eating less sugar is helping me stay awake? Two monitors, each with an obsolete resolution or old technology, costs less than one newer, higher-resolution monitor. I got this pair of 19" LCDs eighteen months ago; now, you can get a pair of 22" LCDs for the same price. ( View formatted comment » )

If I had any extra money I'd probably spend it on figures ^^; Anyhow, I'm glad you made your comment concerning the engineering of my hardware. I may be jinxing myself once I submit this comment, but my displays remain solidly mounted. http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/3922/Dual-monitor+stand.html ( View formatted comment » )

Yes, there are many technical details to seriously consider, and that's why I'm not an engineer. I design based on my own learned common sense, and I don't intend to deceive or claim that my own implementation is brilliant. Should my displays come crashing down or fail from overheating, to me that means it's time for an upgrade and a lesson learned. ( View formatted comment » )

I digest this site and members' sites way more often than I do respond or give evidence of my presence. I should set up a local web proxy to offset some bandwidth usage. I have witnessed the destruction/evolution of other communities and it's never worth the effort to try to stop big forces of change. I know how to restrain myself, I think. There are times when I can be rogue in spirit. No one likes change for the worse. I usually keep these feelings away from the site, because negative energy just wastes more energy. You could make a shelf that's flush to your monitor's top, using the Flat Display Mounting Interface on the back. I'm still working out details on mine :> ( View formatted comment » )

It's an enjoyable hobby, so it did not have to be rushed (this one was put on the backburner for years, scrapping another design), though I was getting a bit impatient with protecting the wooden surface. ( View formatted comment » )

Eh, couldn't we all exchange MAL infos or the like? I'll admit, I don't exactly keep up with mine, seeing that MALUpdater automagic doesn't work for me. I imagine what will happen is that we'll just end up with a list of everything possibly watchable, anyhow, commented in these posts. It's a question of whether the effort being done here can allow for the information solving the problem to be reasonably organized and usable. That said, it's worth a shot. I need to catch up on Macross F, kind of findin... ( View formatted comment » )

Yeah, there seems to be nothing you can do to preserve "new keyboard feel", that matte texture, short of fabricating keys using a material that's harder than fingernails. ( View formatted comment » )

Legitimate XP user. I also have legitimate Vista in another partition but only boot there to test something every blue moon. Need to upgrade hardware before considering using Vista, and me wishes Microsoft would be cool for a change and upgrade Vista users to Windows 7 or whatever the replacement OS is, free of charge—it has to be better, right? Random chaos to make people act more like people, possibly breaking the typical ice and prompting colleagues to question what could be questioned and encourage them to speak their mind. Brilliant! This is what you intended, correct? ( View formatted comment » )
