Personally, I was kind of disappointed with it. After the awesome movie The Place Promised in Our Early Day, this one just didn't do it for me. It wasn't bad or anything, just disappointing. ( View formatted comment » )

Meh, I never liked the Ghost in the Shell movie. It had terrible pacing, and really ended on a whimper. The SAC series was a million times better. ( View formatted comment » )

Well wouldn't that be cutting in line then? You'd get a whole lot of angry comike fans if you just let someone come up and take your place...and then stay in line yourself. ( View formatted comment » )

I've seen all of them, but I've never been a big fan. They're alright, but I doubt I'll ever bother to watch them a second time. I personally found the Star Trek movies to be better (though I'm not a huge of them either). ( View formatted comment » )

This also kind of feels like Nintendo admitting that the wiimote wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Go back and watch the original Wii promo video, and what they showed there looks what they're finally going to deliver now....only with a new, probably over priced, accessory. Their promo back then was definitely pretty deceiving in retrospect. ( View formatted comment » )

I have all three current gen systems. The Wii is definitely my favorite of the bunch. I'm excited about the possibilities that this new accessory could bring to control, but I'm worried about it fragmenting the market place. This isn't like when Nintendo introduced rumble back with the N64, this will change how the games are actually played. ( View formatted comment » )

It's all videogame and anime music for me. And I brought all of my music to my work computer as well, and listened to it there while working. That is, when I still had a job. I lost my job a couple months ago, and I'm still looking for a new one... ;_; ( View formatted comment » )

I keep all mine out in the open. The dust is barely noticeable on them. And when it gets really bad, I just use one of those compressed air cans to dust them. ( View formatted comment » )

I really liked Tales of the Abyss. Though it did start to feel like the story was dragging on a bit too much near the end. They could've trimmed a good 10 hours from the game, and it would've benefited the story quite a bit in my opinion. ( View formatted comment » )

You lucky. I've always wanted to go to a big anime convention, but they just don't have any around here. ( View formatted comment » )

You know it's kind of sad, because I live in Racine, WI (just south of Milwaukee), and I've never been to Summer Fest in my life... >_>; ( View formatted comment » )

Oh god, how could I forget to mention Full Metal Alchemist and Hell Girl to that list! Damn, the more I think about it, the more I realize just how amazing Funimation has been in recent years. The only negative that I can think of is when they decided to leave Kodocha only half finished on DVD. ( View formatted comment » )

Personally, I've found Funimation to be one of the best (if not the best) anime distributors of the last few years. They have great voice actors, and include excellent packaging and art boxes. I don't know where you guys are getting the "kiddification" thing from. Funimation never does anything like that with their DVD releases. Ever since their release of Fruits Basket (YEARS ago), all their stuff has been absolutely top notch. They did a fantastic job with shows like Kiddy Grade, Full Metal Panic TSR, Rumbling Hearts, ... Yeah, I was really depressed about the Kanon 6 announcement yesterday. But NHK 5 did make it out to Best Buy and Right Stuf (though it wasn't supposed to). It's another licensing issue that's holding things up again. ADV doesn't have the rights to ship those titles to retailers. Hopefully they'll working things out. Leaving us hanging on the final volume of Kanon is like a knife through the heart. That's why I was so happy about this Geneon announcement today. It was about the only news that could've lifte... I remember that project. A full 3D update like that on a current gen console would be like a dream come true. ( View formatted comment » )

I LOVE Beast Wars. It's the best Transformers show ever made, by far. The 3D animation is really crude by today's standards, but the story and characters were top notch. ( View formatted comment » )

I live in the US, so no problems here for getting US movies on time. But for us anime and JRPG videogame fans, it's terrible. It takes forever before we get to see anime over here. We're still waiting for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time here! And it takes eons for SquareEnix to translate their games for us too (still no Final Fantasy 4 DS). ( View formatted comment » )
