That's pretty disgusting, especially so if they are knowingly selling bootlegs.. ( View formatted comment » )

Former Govt. employee seeks short/long term position at GoodSmile - willing to work for figures ;) More seriously, congratulations! It must be some kind of cultural awareness meeting - two great nations coming together with a common interest - Mr. Choo the living embodiment of the entrepenueral spirit etc etc. Kind of cool really. Seems like a good idea, I have not really noticed much trolling going on around here to be honest. Perhaps we are all somewhat jaded when it comes to trolls though.. ( View formatted comment » )

Considering that's your first ever resin kit I think you did a great job! ( View formatted comment » )

I'd not take a trip down the seafood aisle for one. Also be on the lookout for a helpful (and hungry) killer whale to do its civic duty! ( View formatted comment » )

If the quality was there I must admit I'd be tempted to buy. Not likely to get to try them anytime soon though.. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm a big fan of gashapon toys, the quality is surprisingly good on them. I prefer the Bandai ones and I do generally like to get the entire set rather than just one or two figures from a set. It helps that I sell them. ;) ( View formatted comment » )

Excellent Rei collection, you have some really nice figures there! :D Also as you like the prize goods in October or November there are some Rei and Asuka cat girl figures being released that would make a great addition to your collection! I like gashapon a lot, they are usually surprisingly good quality at a very low price. Plus not every character gets made into a full pvc figurine. Just make sure that when you buy them you are not paying too much more than the Japanese Yen price! ( View formatted comment » )

Yep that's a decent price, the figure is worth it as well which helps. :) I was a bit worried for a minute when you said the figures were super expensive! ( View formatted comment » )

Just curious but how much were they charging for the Rei UFO Catcher prize figure? I have the Rei and Asuka ones myself and prefer the Rei out of the two. :) ( View formatted comment » )

Gorgeous figure and I don't really mind the face - would prefer a more anime-esque look but it's not bad. Very tempting indeed. ( View formatted comment » )

Alter are probably my favourite company in terms of quality. I sometimes wish the Alter releases were slightly bigger though. Max Factory come a very close second. Those two are easily the best I would say. Good Smile have a great reputation and the nendoroids I have absolutely do not disappoint. ( View formatted comment » )

Adorable! Possibly the cutest nendoroid release so far. For the faces, I usually stick to my favourite and leave it that way. I usually like one face far more than the others so it does kind of make sense. ;) ( View formatted comment » )

I really like the Figumate Gurren Lagann set! It's funny I can already picture the Revoltech Enki and Yoko in that cabinet. ;) ( View formatted comment » )
