I haven't seen an art style like that since the 90's. Due to this and several other concurrent factors, I feel extremely old despite only being 18.... ( View formatted comment » )

I miss the old days... I may be only 18 but so much has changed in the past 20 years. Am I the only one who thinks that modern civilization may be advancing too quickly? ( View formatted comment » )

As a robot enthusiast, I practically shat bricks while watching it walk down the snowy hill and on the icy road. that is just insane robotics... I never thought it could actually survive slippery terrain when I saw an early version of it a year ago. Only problem is that the sound of its motor(s) makes me want to go into a primal rage, rip the things legs off, and proceed to beat it with its own limbs until the part count > its worth. that music playing would be more than enough to make me want to jump XD seriously though, i feel bad about the incident. with this kind of thing happening i would expect there to be some kind of system devised to prevent people from getting on the tracks when a train is not stationed. What i would do is place a wall between the station and the tracks and have doors aligned with the trains that open with the train doors. ( View formatted comment » )

Is traffic really that sparse and easy going over there? Because over here it is about twice as dense at twice the speed. We've got an interstate running through our town (it's a rather small town) that I have to cross on foot to get to school and I'd be lucky to even get to the median alive, It gets even worse the farther up north you go as Indianapolis is about 45 minutes away. I don't really see how people can stand driving in such conditions. The first (and only) time I have ever had to drive up north I almost had a hear... ( View formatted comment » )

I don't get enough magazines to worry about space consumption. I only get Newtype and Game Informer for the most part, I pick out a Robot Magazine randomly every season as well. If these topics were more mainstream and had a greater following than they do here in the states then I may consider getting rid of a few old mags, after I carefully extract vital "information" from them worth saving, that is. I think the only magazine I have ever done that with is the codebook magazine, or something like that, I cut out its armored core ... ( View formatted comment » )

Crysis was an amazing game up until the aliens, I enjoyed its blend of action and stealth up to that point just as much as i did with MGS. Yes, the ending did suck in my opinion, mostly because it was more like the end of a chapter than it was of a game. However, its multiplayer i think is a highly redeeming quality. It is like a blend of CnC Generals and Counterstrike. You have the ability to purchase weapons, armor, tools, vehicles, etc from your base and several capturable structures, such as a war factory, science facility, and more. Of cou... I personally really like the traditional male clothing, don't understand why they wouldn't want to wear em since they look to be so comfortable and less restricting on the body. by the way, whats with the fluffy part on the female clothing? ( View formatted comment » )
