how much of a moron do you have to be to get the serverly injured trying to assemble a drawer? if i was hurt like that i sure as heck wouldnt tell anyone...anywas may whole apartment is Ikea and i've never so much as scratched myself make it all...like 7 BILLY book cases for amy anime and video and book/manga collection a couple MALM drawers and my two computer tables, heck the dining room table and my couches...i guess no matter how fool proof you make a manual some one will always make bigger fool... yeah, the content is rather lacking...nice big pics but thats it...but for US otaku, Otaku USA is in print now...more honest reviews of current US released Anime...but two months between issues leaves much to be wanting...Anime Insider is also out here...but it all pales in comparison to the Japanese anime mags... geez, the last time i went to tokyo disney was like 20 years ago and its much smaller than disneyland...living here in SoCal im just a hop skip and a jump away from Disneyland...i wonder how they are gonna fit another disneyland park into an indoor format? ( View formatted comment » )
i have one of those :D it came out in the deluxe box for disk 1 or 2 for Haruhi in the US...along with a ton of other goodies...A cd and iron on decal among them...although i havent found anywhere to use it yet...maybe the next time i go to work...but no one around here will "get it"... down in my part of town we have a rather large Japanese community here, and lots of really good Japanese resturants are here, including 3 Shinsengumi resturants, Ramen house, Shabu Shabu, and Yakitori...along with a few tokyo style korean bbq places and lots of sushi shops, but in my opinion only three of them are true great...but the taste is right, the texture of the food perfect...just like my last trip to Tokyo...i think it tastes great, but you really gotta hunt these shops out...some of them are kinda hidden away, like some kinda local se... if it follows the Manga and Anime story line, the girls who always did badly on the test and quizes, there were five of them, call themselves the Baka rangers...and they go on on a quest to find a book to help them ace the next test in the campus library...or something along those lines...need to watch Negima! again to refesh my memory... you know its something that is done and has been done in Japan for countless years, we dont have people from India coming to the US and making a stink of us going off and eating their cow gods...but as much as i like dolphins, the rest of the world should butt out of it...its what they know and have done for generations...we have no right to look down on another culture just because it doesnt match our culture or mind set. well that severed finger was proven to be a hoax and the people involved were arrested..but yes that did all sorts of damage to the company...but Wendys was always the smaller of the fast food retailers. heck theres only one here, where i live vs. untold dozens of carls jr. Kfc's and McD's and 2 burgerkings...

yeah i've seen lines like that here in Los Angeles, for the really good sushi or Tokyo style korean bbq in hollywood/beverlyhills area...lines that go out into the street...Gyu-Kaku was one i waited a good 25-20miniutes to get into, off of Pico...and the bigger american resturants Lawry's or Cheesecake factory. its good food and great atmosphere, and maybe some random movie or sports start thrown in for the fun of it...
