Well I got myself into an embarassing moment when I was about to walk my dog, a girl opens the apartment building's back door and my friend asks "whats your dogs name?" Comparing Macross to Star Trek is fun since you can see many ways we could explore the galaxy. Macross at least does it in a funner way for the masses and shows off human culture (deculture) in a unique way :D. If the "Federation" can only make ships then they need little escorts like planes.
