During elementary and high school, we were taught traditional and funny enough were not allowed to use simplified when we write essays.
Also, I was under the impression that you can only use traditional for official documents. I guess I was mistaken in there. Well, at least learning japanese is much easier with a chinese background. ( View formatted comment » )
