My favourite as well, I just got her a few days ago. Very true about the cast-off; it is nearly impossible to put those ribbons back in...even following the directions. ( View formatted comment » )

Yes, it is definitely more brittle. It does not flex or bend at all like PVC. ( View formatted comment » )

Resin or polystone is definitely worth it. I have to keep my polystone Simca statue away from the others, so that they don't look so cheap! ( View formatted comment » )

How about starting the "Danny Choo Monthly Member Mascot" - putting a spotlight on some of your members who wish for a little more exposure? Not just pretty people, but interesting people too! ( View formatted comment » )

I've been waiting for a good Kokoro figure, but I don't think this is it. The proportions of her body and face are somehow wrong, especially when wearing the other outfit. I would prefer a standing pose with the pink kimono from DOA4. ( View formatted comment » )

Wow, that's crazy. I've never had that happen! Sometimes I get charged and sometimes I don't get charged. Actually, anytime it goes through USPS and into Canada Post, I don't get charged any customs at all; just PST and GST depending on whether they think the figure originated in Japan or the States. There exists different rules, especially according to NAFTA, but they don't seem to follow the strict guidelines. Long story short, I asked a Canadian customs agent how they decide when and what to charge and she serious... ( View formatted comment » )

That is a nice pic there; I'm old enough to have many of the originals from the mid-80s... ( View formatted comment » )

R34 GT-R V-Spec Nur is my fav, I've got a little model of a blue one! And the new GT-R is finally in America and it just kills everything else. It eats Porsches for lunch. ( View formatted comment » )

That's terrible. And they are both listed as Dragonball Z figures!! I'm sure even if you order the "real" looking one you will get the fake. It's just a stock photo, and both descriptions are exactly the same...never once stating that it is official. The real killer is that both prices are the same and less than 1/4 the price for a real one! ( View formatted comment » )

It's fairly normal for an excellent teacher who is in demand. When in LA, my teachers charged 150-200. It depends on the teacher and the city. In a small town like where I am it is more difficult to charge that much. My rates vary incredibly, from FREE to 100 dollars an hour; but if I was in a bigger city I would charge 150. I think Ogura Yuko and Sasaki Nozomi are perfect, flawless, timeless, breathtaking beauties...so I suppose you can guess what I prefer! It must be said, however, that for me a beautiful face is WAY more important (as evidenced by the aforementioned wonderful, captivating, eternal, dream-filled, absolutely pure faces of Yuko and Nozomi).
