Well translating a novel is a lot more of work than translating a Manga especially when you have reduced budget because of a marginal market... But for your information, Seven Seas said that they was going to release the Zero's Familiar light novel with the pace of three to four volume per year until they reach the latest Japanese volume (there is already fifteen volumes released in Japanese). Well you summarized to point of view of many people that posted suggestions in the Gomanga forum. But to try to convert a light novel in a "real" novel would denature the original work in my opinion. But the main problem would be the cost involved. The principal thing to do would be to find solutions to promote them and touch a wider public. ( View formatted comment » )
