Kinda glad you didn't name the little sister "Kako". It would have meant "completely nuts" in Finnish. ( View formatted comment » )

I found it kinda annoying too having to use those really small axe (amount of alcohol 48ml? couldn't find any other amount indication) bottles you can get from local kombini (check them out Danny, supermarkets too).. but at least there are some options for men too it seems. I'm currently in Kanagawa. Too bad, AXE seems to be the only option for men here. Would like to have the bigger bottle too..and the options are really scarce, because you can only get them from Axe specific rack and they're usually out of the smell you wan... The thing is that in conservative manner of speaking, women are expected to stay as housewives after they get married. Which is still very common way of thinking in Japan. I have many friends who are worried about getting a job because of such prejudiced assumptions. Japan's not easy for women.. ( View formatted comment » )

In Finland you don't need to tip since the pay is included in the bill. If you give some, you're going to get quite a long look from the waiters/waitresses. So.. if you ever drop by Finland, don't tip. :) Whee, I'm off to Japan for 6½ months next week's Friday. (exchange) ( View formatted comment » )

I once got nearly run over by a tram in our capital. It was scary like hell, I was 2 seconds away from death, or at least terrible condition. People mostly slice their wrists, drink till they die, drown, get in a car accident... however most common cause of death is by a knife. (I think.. at least the yellow papers seem to report these most often) Sad to hear about the suicides. My ex-girlfriend told a few times that she got late from school because someone jumped in front of the train. : ( ( View formatted comment » )

Ever since I played Kana~Little Sister I've wanted to donate my organs when I die. Why be selfish and keep them to yourself when you get killed or die especially if someone could live a good long life with the donor. Loved the option "To be fed to animals" x) When it comes to dying, it's quite cheap here I guess. Though you can buy a burial site for 20 or 30 years here. Graveyards are quite a bit bigger here. Afterall, there's only about 5 000 000 people inhabiting 338,000km^2 of land. ( View formatted comment » )

Pleased to meet you Gorgo. About the question. I prefer the Japanese. Why? There are many reasons, but my main points are that usually the storyline is so much better than western usually there's also fun details and free use of humor. There are exceptions in western games though, Fallout series, Thief series etc. with great storylines, fun gameplay and all. Some Japanese RPG's are palin boring though. I've never really liked the simple graphics in them, maybe because in western games the emphasis has been on the graphic... ( View formatted comment » )

Anime all the way. I've tried watching Lost (I really tried for more than 10 episodes), but eventually my interested withered away. I agree with D_Blade, somehow the american dramas seem to be carved out of the same wood. While with anime there's much more variety, it's a miracle how many different people you can present in an anime with a simple change in hairstyle and personality. I personally like the older series too. Nowadays there are too many terrorist, catastrophe, murderer, tough dudes, hero, soap opera dramas (O.C. a... ( View formatted comment » )
