Thats what Kojima got when he developed the game on untested and fresh hardware from Sony. The PS3 hardware specs is nice, no doubt about that... but i feel that there are some things about the hardware that i find either lacking or inadequate, compared to the PC or Xbox 360. On a related note, ive seen a comparison clip of the game "Assasins Creed" being played on 360 & PS3... and there are notable graphical differences. Looks like she still needs a lot of work, especially on details like the joints & some anatomical details (eyes, figure) but ill definately take this one. Im a fan of Shunya Yamashita's work, i even have his illustration book ordered and delivered here (already in my collection now). Same old, lame old news... Western media blamed the FPS game DOOM for the Columbine Massacre (the killers played DOOM a lot before slaying people). Fox News blamed the RPG game Mass Effect for inciting/encouraging porn to young teens (The player character can fall in love/engage in a menage-a-trois with a human/alien female). Its no different in East-Asia. Another thing is that eastern media can be as über-dumb as their western counterparts, when it comes to reporting that video/pc-games harms kids & leads/encourages crime. ... forgot to mention those friends of mine were Japanese language enchange students. My campus, Oslo University, has studen exhange programs with Kansai Gaidai, Tokai Shonan & Keio University (yes, THAT prestigious Keio university. You can only get there if one is a Linguistics or Cultural Studies Major, & passed a tough-as-titanium paper exam which one needs a grade of B or higher to go back for 1 full year exchange. roughly 15+ students manage to achieve that). Friends of mine who've been exchange students last year have different views of bento. some say that tbento tastes like their mama's cooking (more likely their host mothers cooking) while others say it tastes like either cardboard or a half-day old, cold dish, sold on the cheap. Since bento-prices vary at places, the higher the price for bento, the more tasty it is, at least thats what i think. Bento is commonly sold at supermarkets & train stations, aint it so ? I kind of like Megatokyo for its story. Its been a while since i havent read any for the last 4 years or so. Have the paperback versions (volume 1-4) of the e-comic but i dont have the latest one (Volume 5). My only gripe about the comic is the slow development. But others think otherwise. Seems like the actors overdid their acting... From the looks of it, seems like child exploitation to me. The kid is skilled in his craft, no doubt about that, but at the very least he should have been given some medical care for his wounds, no matter how small it is... and the TV-show hosts failed that... shame on them l00s3rs.. TV-entertainment is imho, nothing but marketing stupidity, but thats just me (not all entertainment is bad though).
