If I hadn't picked up an interest for web development I probably would have been working some dead end job and regretting every bit of it. I used to eat Krispy Kremes a lot thanks to most of the car meets were held in a KK carpark. Pretty terrible actually since it was once a week, lol. Though the longest I waited for KK doughnuts was 3 hours because of a promo of getting 3 boxes for $10. But now I tend to stay away from them. ( View formatted comment » )

Smoking has been banned in restaurants just before the Sydney Olympics, which was a pretty good move and it has been enforced ever since. It has definitely done wonders but I'm not all that fussed about smokers in general, but I do love to eat when there is no smoke in the air to ruin my food. ( View formatted comment » )

Over the months since I started working, maintaining a core system is much easier than maintaining several custom coded web applications. But recently there have been add-on modules where some may be used in many other applications, but still have to be modified to an extent. I hope one day I can just have a simple core based web application to maintain at work rather than having to juggle between 3-10 different projects using different systems. Going outside to take photos of figures isn't all that bad. I do it pretty much for all my figures, and majority of the time, it's by myself. My latest figure photography took me to a VERY public place. ( View formatted comment » )
