Hmm first thing to teach Motoko...how about the horizontal boogy? xD

But this is actually really interesting, i am thinking of studying Computing and Multimedia at University next year, and one of the thigns i can do int he 3rd year is Artificial Inteligence ^_^

not too impressed cause it's not AI, it's more like vocal command.

In windows vista, you use your computer with vocal commands, that's pretty much the same here, the sounds trigger actions.

AI would be like creating a machine that could learn without the human help, that could solve a problem by itself without having it recorded in it's memory.

and yeah Danny, I guess the first cyborgs will be used for sex prurposes rather than war :)

It must have a large memory bank.
But, can it mimic? also while learning, I think it needs to be able to see, process the image like the human brain.

:D Lets see how far can they take it too :]

I don't mind seeing Terminators, I-Robots and such. ah... Rules.. They need to abide to some law otherwise they'll eat us all.

Mmmmm, Kusanagi Motoko... hot...

But it's interesting that this AI can learn words ànd then learn the meaning and the concept behind the word. Must be some nice optical recognition as well (but that has already come a long way).

call me paranoid or i just watch too much sci-fi movies but i'm afraid of the other posibble implications like learning to eradicate the human race or something...

if ever i'll have my own Matoko Kusanagi model, i'll have her to be my personal bodyguard :3

Welcome to the future...

I personally feel those robots will be used in wars and one day, given that they got their own personality, they will strive for their right and all the post-apocalyptic scenarios will be true...

Hopefully we are not there yet and there still are a lot to do before that, and model the future into a good one when we still have the chance. ^^
