Are they water-based Latex? Depending on how cheap they are, I would buy it just for the heck of it. Could probably use it as a pencil case or something.

I'd prefer slapping annoying comrades with it. Makes a good, inoffensive weapon. ^^ Nothing beats hard cases. Looks like a waste of money, except for complete fans of Hello Kitty, Sanrio and such.

I think someone already did a sorta 'Banana Gundam'. Long time ago, there was this Flash meme on the Internet called Banana Phone, which was essentially a banana-shaped phone with a Gundam head, accompanied with a really catchy song about it played in loop. I'll try looking around for it in my archives.

I would have used one when I was back in high school. I love bananas but they always stunk out my lunch box! Now, if I had had one of these, my other food all safe in my lunch box would not have smelt all bananary!

Hehe, to be honest I don't think those are completely useless, but there are definately better uses than for putting your banana in them(yes, definately.) I sure wouldn't mind one for a pencil case =D
lol we have something similar to the hardcase here. At the hospital giftshop I volunteer at, there's a pile of them called "Banana Guards" They're made of plastic, fully equipped with ventilation holes and pointed ends XD

Bananas are expensive, at least most fruits in Japan are. Bananas should be handled with care.
Lol, that has been here a while...I never see anyone with it though. I sell cell phone accessories so I know that people sometimes buy the most useless stuff like a banana bag for their cell phone.
