For some reason I love the blonde version more. They're both super hot though. Mirei and that other girl with the little sword and school uniform (I forget her name) will be my first Shunya Yamashita figures.
I think I like the blonde version better, it seems to open up her face a little more...but I'd be perfectly happy with the brunette version. But, she's only being sold at specific places right, and not at the usual places that most in North America would go. Hope they decide to give it a general release at some point.
I love both of them but I've pre-ordered the brunette version from a friend of mine :D If I had to choose from one of them in the store I'd choose the brunette one, looks more like a secretary than the blonde one. The truth is that in real live I prefer brunettes so it apllies to figures to ^^
The blonde design is much cleaner and clearer. All of the detail is lost in the darkness of the overall color scheme with the brunette. Blonde, no contest.
hmm the brunette version seems much more appealing and have this so-called 'corporate image' compared to the blonde version... Hoshii! Hoshii! (^_^)

I WANT THIS NOW! Got the brunette on pre-order from TokyoToys.com. Wont be out til May at the earliest, so the wait is gonna be excruciating! I am tempted to get both, but i think the brunette is so much better than the blonde. Ill probably just get the one. HURRY UP! BTW - whats with the dubiously large shinji cosplay after the mirei pics? Its not showing up on the gallery, just on the 'next picture' button!

The brunette version is way more hot(i perfer brunettes over blondes anytime).
I got the brunette in pre-order ...and now I guess I'm off to the shop again to get that blondine one.......Life's tough...but they're so cute. But I agree , the face of the blonde one seems more open and candid...the brunette on the other hand with her neat 9to5 outfit..grrrrr

I don't understand some of you people. "Probably my mother and my girlfriend won't like it" you say, it's just a figure and she isn't naked like the Supika figure, she's just a sexy figure. I showed pictures of Mirei to some of my girlfriends(not a girlfriend) and my mother and all of them realy liked the figure, they all said that she is extremely cute. And what if I had bought one of those almost naked figures? IT'S JUST A FIGURE, IT'S ART only crazy people don't see it that way. That's all I have to say.

If Kotobukiya do decide to give it a general release I'd put my money on the brunette. This was such a tough decision. When I first saw the brunette version I was like WOW! Then I saw the blonde one (Noooo! I have to choose!?!). I figured most would get the brunette, since she came first, so I decided to be different and get the blonde version instead.

like krapou, I got the brunette in pre-order. maybe arrived next month. too bad, because i like the blonde. why? well maybe... just like cars. we can see the detail and shape in white lamborghini than the black one.
