I like those guys guts for doing that but if you think about it its cosplay!!! So it should not be a big deal there is not many interesting men to cosplay as in anime recently because they all look plain and if you cosplay as him only hardcore fans will know who you are, because they wear regular cloths. If I was a girl I would love to cosplay!!!
