Nice wall o' figures!
I want!

What do you do with your figure boxes? And what do you do with older figures you have grown bored of? You cant exactly part-ex them for new ones can you?
Or can you? - you live in the magical land of japan where anything is possible!
I got 2 shelves full of old figures, and no idea how to get rid of them, save for Ebay, which is costly and time consuming. :-S

whoa! that's a lot of figures. ^^ keeping an stock of figures to sell must be hard on the room real estate. since you're stocking more air in those boxes rather than the actual figures. ^^ I usually just throw out the box as soon as I open the figure, although I would sometimes cut out the pictures if I find it pretty. ^^
I recently cleaned out my clutter of gundam boxes, here are some(half) of the boxes I threw out: http://www.marvinryan.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/cleaning.JPG I also found some non grade and high grade kits amongst my stocked boxes which I decide to give to charity. lol guess the spirit of christmas must be getting thru my grinch shield. ^^

Andy H,
you can always throw some my way. ^^

Mojya's room

http://taste.style.coocan.jp/room.htm

Kickass isnt is?

The most interesting aspect are, you can see how his room has grown, and also the impact of an earthquake.

Another person's room that I will certainly like to see is Mi's Collection, too bad he doesnt show it unlike Mojya.

my room is slowly developing into a combination of the opened and unopened figures/gundams. Most of my gundam models are unopened tho cause im too lazy/busy to work on them. That and i cant for the love of God find the cream pink paint for the MG strike rouge. T_T i suppose i have to try the no paint technique.

also, remember that haruhi bunny girl resin kit displayed at WHF a while ago Danny? appearantly the sculptor (BUBBA i believe) has some very delicious

i got an idea, use the boxes to create a makeshift shrine, all you need is some tape, glue, primer and paint and save the thousands of twist ties youl have left over, and presto 100% of the prodcut is used

You have to keep the boxes because you can't sell stuff without them. And the boxes make it easier when moving or storing.

Unfortunately, both mine and this store's wall pale in comparison to some of the true collectors. There are people who buy separate HOUSES (note: bungalows) just to display their toys.

If you're staying permanently at a place, its fine to display them nicely in display shelves. I just moved house earlier this year and just imagine I have to re-pack almost 80pcs of my pvc figurines, that also havent mentioned the time I've spent to clean them piece by piece. Up-to date I have around 100+ gundam 1/100 and 1/144 kits (luckily , all of them are still unopened), some 150+ PVC figurines, countless transformers especially the beastwar range. What I do now is to place them into big carton boxes and put them aside waiting for the next nightmare of moving house again....
