キタ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━ッ!!!!!
今日PS3とリッギレーサーが届きました。イェイ。PS3を押さえてくれた某さんに感謝します。Wiiも押さえてくれるって!^o^
さて感想は?アメイジング!グラフィックは最高にきれいです。システムのOSの完成度は結構高く、使えやすい。これからのPS3人生は楽しそう。本体は熱くなりますが、暴走はしない^^;
電源を入れて、いきなりシステムアップデートを要求して来たのは面白かった^^;
最初は初期設定が必要。ここで「ダニー」と変換候補が自動的に出て来たので、うれしい。ソニーは以外とやさしいですね^^;

Thanks for the info and pics!! Nice to see that someone is having fun with it and that it seems to rock. Still a bit too pricey for me though...

Very impressive piece of kit guess they ditched the old plastic look, matches the psp now. That bootup OS looks identical to the firmware used for the psp, but thats no surprise. Shame the controller is the same old design.

Sweet, nice buy Danny. It's great to see
Sony didn't change so much the controller design and that you can easily change the HD.

Keep us imformed Danny.

Jammy bugger!

The Xbox 360 has been doing all those shiny online things you speak of for nearly a year now. Too bad its not doing too good in Japan. Its a much better console than people give it credit for.

Have fun with your new toy!
I trust you got the gundam game?

Lucky! I'm waiting for a few months on it, still have a backlog of PS2 games to finish and keep me occupied. Of course, if I actually see one I'll probably buy it. :)

As another commenter had said, a year ago the Xbox 360 was doing all the online stuff PS3 is doing now, plus the 360's online infrastructure is more robust. I'm guessing you don't have a 360 so you didn't know that, not that I can't blame you seeing how you're in Japan.

Congradulations on your PS3!

I would love to own one, and I can afford one, however I am waiting for the price ultimatly come down, because I am not paying $599.99 USD (roughly 70,500 JPY) for it. I'm sure the graphics are superb, but the price and the hype are way to big right now. Hopefully in another year as well, all the kinks/bugs associated with console launches will be worked out.

I look forward to your Wii review; this is one I will be hunting down from November 19th to Christmas. At $250 USD, that is practically a steal, and I am looking forward to how Nintendo wants to change how games are played (I love Nintendo). Thanks for the coverage!

Congratulation Danny, PS3 is a great peace of technology with amazing games that will defiantly add some more enjoyment to life. Congrats, I kind of wish I could get one, but too expensive and now space for it lol need bigger place to live in lol heheheh ok I'm waiting with anticipation for some videos of you gaming online.

Nice piece of electronic you got there Danny. Though I'm not a big gamer, I'd probably get one too. Although, it is expensive for a gaming console, a PS3 is relatively cheap if you considering that a set top Blue-ray player costs a few hundreds of dollars more, and the PS3 can do much more than play HD movies. It would be great with my 50" LCD HDTV [drool].

Nice. Looks pretty good and I hope you have fun playing with it. But I'll probably hold off a few months before getting one when it gets released in Australia.

Sexy! oh and the figures looks nice too. ^^ Although I'll probably hold out a bit more til the price is a wee bit more friendly on the wallet. still I have to admit, after seeing those pictures your posted, I'm sorely tempted to order one for myself now. ^^

Wow I was expecting your review to be something like this:

"I got it and pluged it in, and without a moments hesitation the bloody thing sploded!! oO"

But hey if its all in working order then I suppose thats better then I anticipated. You havent encountered any bugs or anything?

MAGIC CHEF in that one place with the thing,...
PS3 is way to expensive for me right now. If I do decide to get one of the new consoles itll prob be the 360 because halo 2 is the only game I really play. My second choice would be a wii because of zelda. But I dont think I'll ever get a PS3 unless all my friends are like "you gotta get this for (blah) games"
(ID #41222) Posted on 2007/01/02 01:23
Gav in Northumberland, UK
The PS3 is going to be too expensive for most to afford on release here in the UK. I'm gutted because I can't afford one and I really wanted to play MGS4 as soon as it came out :(
Just like the other playstation consoles, its just a matter of time before manufacturing becomes cheaper, and the price of the console drops.

Used to indulge quite alot in online games, but not anymore, it can be rather taxing, tiring and the ping from my country can never fight with those from the US.

The PS3 design looks pretty slick and rather un-Sonyish

I really wait for your Nintendo Wii photo review ! I think it would be my next console (before a PS3), cause it should really fun to play with the wiimote.

PS3 is a bit expensive, and I'm just interessed for the moment by the gundam game, target in sight !

Sounds interesting, Danny, but I'm not getting too excited as I'm an Xbox boy through and through ;) By the way, is your Ridge Racer footage from an on-line game or was that the off-line version? Just seems a little 'clean' if you get my meaning....no jostling or bumping each other.

danny, with that macpro core2 and the ps3, the technophiles reading your site are probably either
1.) really really want to smack you now out of envy.
2.) really really pity your wallet.
3.) do both.

Congrats on your purchase for getting a PS3, Hopefully sony will get enough units out by early 2007, cause right now prices are jacked up. Definitely getting one before DMC4 & MGS4 comes out...

On another note will you be installing WinXP on your Core Duo Mac Book? I am curious how its done and if you intend to do it will you write a review about the experience of a dual-boot system? Thanks.

Oh n Enjoy the games on your PS3 ^^

Plasma T.V? I heard that playing games on a plasma t.v really shortens its life but since you're smarter than me i guess you know what you're doing! You're so lucky that you were able to get one i pre-ordered it at a Sont store! I'm number 66 on the list but they only had 5 instock the first day it came out. So i was pretty disappointed. Just wondering, what games did you get?
