Looks cool! The funny thing - it's a movie out of a series which was out of a movie. Yup, the comic went first, but you know what I mean. Moreover, without Oshii's first feature I doubt GiTS would have spread like it did :-)
this is off topic but for all of you who loved steve irwin the crocodile hunter, well he has died today by stingray. the barbs from the ray pierced his heart. let him rest in peace. :(

I'm glad to see another GITS series. I can't wait when we get it here in USA. Probably get to watch it on [adult swim]. By the way, Danny, did they keep same style songs in there? SAC had russian songs in its intro and I actuly translated it to english. I hope they will have more of them in new one.

Aaah, i can barely keep up, i am still trying to muster together enough money to complete the first "Stand Alone Complex" series :( But at £20 per DVD for 4 episodes, its proving somewhat difficult -.- But i am determined to complete that series this christmas and hopefully soon i shall be able to get onto this one... aww man GITS is soo cool XD

Lots of great action, great Yoko Kanno music has become what we look forward to from GITS. (^_-) I'm looking forward to watching it when my copy arrives at my door. Boris, I asked my old college buddy. He is not sure but he believes some songs are in Russkii. I studied the language when I started college, but sad to say I really don't remember much now.
Boris, Yes - same style songs just like the previous two series - cant wait to get hold of the soundtracks. AndyH, Have not heard anything about a follow up series but due to the popularity, I dont think they would just let the series die - theres just too much money to be made from it. justin, never heared of the person but being pierced in the heart is not a nice way to go. waterfall, That is indeed a maid with her bottom showing. Its interesting the way they try to get the maid in - remember the last series (or the one before that) with the maid that had a machine gun hand?

was very dissapointed with this, especially the ending mech fight..it was very poorely done for an I.G. production.
Love Ghost in the Shell. 2nd GIG, though it did not meet my expectations, was still a far above anime. The movie will probaly leave that, "Oh, the messed up that part" feeling, but I'm still desperate to watch it. I've downloaded three different Torrent files of it, and none of then have english subs.
i thought the movie was great, but I was left with the same feeling after watching the first and second seasons....confoosed @_@
