I want to try this on my Gundams but also want to try it on my evil bosses car which means I cant vote XD

Guess it's time for me to touch up my PG Strike, WZC, and RX-179 Titans.. didn't realize how much I should go further to make them look good. Definitely going to give these techniques a try on 1/72 ZegaPain Altair.

Very nice! I would try this in some HG kits that I have! Thank you!

Thanks Danny, I goin to give this technique a try for sure. I also want to share a technique I've done on sum of my models to get rid of that stock plastic shine and give it more realistic texture and lust. It's called sand-plasting, I ambitously tried it on a PG Strike and Skygrasper, and it seem to do the trick. But then again... nothing, at least in my opinion, is more effective then paint. ty danny~`

danny, i've tried this technique on my boss's car and he promoted me and promised to raise my pay, thanx u very much, you'd better have a try too.

have already tried to sand things down on my ishtar (3 weeks ago) that i've had for a long time... besides the fact the ishtar's surfaces are quite concave everywhere and difficult to sand, it seems to be quite a cool technique... this guide will definately expand on that ishtar's finish! seems this finish works best on dark coloured kits though.

Rough N Tough eh? Should try it before I go into FFX collection like you Danny!

Im slightly confuzzled on this as i didn't read all the text from the top, lol

Nice one danny, thank you very much! I'm going to try this on an old HG kit before I dare scuff any of my beloved MG kits! Can't wait for the Airbrush guide! Keep up the good work mate!!

Thanks for the translation Danny. I will apply this technique on my Stargazer series gundams!

Wow this is some neat stuff

this looks very nice, i wish i had a hobby like that. One day I might have an army of gundams hahahah :D :D

You 4got one more option danny, I'm going to try this technique on my bosses' face instead hahhaa...i'll vote for that!

cool tutorial. all of us gundam enthusiast owe you a debt of gratitude for going thru all the trouble of scanning and posting these mag clips.

I have been trying this method on my SD Freedom, but um...do I use the sand paper first or the spray paint first.

I will definitly give this technique a go, I like the finish!! And its alot easier than airbrushing....... cheers Danny ;)
I have a question, Is it okay to just use the spray or do you have to sand the model also? I'm going to try this technique!

Hello everyone. I have been using topcoat for a few models and I have 2 questions. Can someone explain photo 20 to me as I cant read jap? I soak my topcoat in hot water, shake for 5 min, spray abt 20 to 30 cm away from my kit but i still get funny finish. I cant really describe it but its sort of like 'dried skin' kind of finish. Is it suppose to be like tat? if not, can someone can tell me what could have gone wrong? Thanks in advance.
This one is great also for Zaku's. will try but i hope i can pull it off.... good luck to all!

Hi, I couldn't find the page 34 that you referred to where it's supposed to show the tools. Is it missing? Also, on page 22, what does it say about the various types of sanding tools? Thanks.

Ive done this, but probibly less worked over like the tutorial has it, but i recomend it personally because if u cant get your hands on decent paint, and u still want a professional look then this is the way to go! it takes about 1-2 days and a few hours of touch ups. and then u'll have a mean lookin gundam =). ive recently done it on my MG destiny, and it loks fantastic, you dont even need weahering markers. =))
