Sounds nice to have a place like Enoshima within a decent driving distance to escape to. I wonder how the fishing is there. But it needs a few Gundams, maybe even a Unit 1 Patlabor

OMG, I love those pictures! I've got to read up on the camera you are using along with the lens that gives the 'wide-angle' look. But yeah the places you snapped those are beautiful. I was in Kyoto and Osaka back in 1997, but didn't make it to Okinawa. Next time. Good work, Danny.

Always nice to get away, even if it's not far from home. My fiancee and I have been thinking the same thing; We need to see more of Japan. We will have to add Enoshima to our list. Wow, the rock climb - on the west side of the island - looks like a lot fun and a good place for photos. I want to visit Mie and Hayama/Shonan Beach area. Hayama/Shonan is a little bit south of Suzuka. Hope you and your wife have a nice time in Okinawa!

Wow, I remember that place too. Man you are bringing back so many memories... I don't know if I can wait for my degree anymore! heh

I met a girl at a coffee shop, and she took me there for our first "outing." I climbed to the very top where there we could see Fuji-san and some sort of bird sanctuary if I remember right... Also there was a place where people left keys of something, but the area was locked up with fence because the American sailors had trashed it. *shrug*

Oh man, tears in my eyes.
