Actually, MG's make the HG's look like..er.. crap. I think in the same series of 1/100 GSD, the strike freedom had such a terrible looking head I didnt bother to buy it.

The newer Seed Destiny models look more "MG" like because they have been using the BEECRAFT lineart, which many of the MG models use.
These guys obviously got a lot of MG skeletons on them. Do they grab a recent kit what is an MG and use their skeletons or are MG skeletons available by themselves in Japan?
This looks soooooo sweeeeeeeet. god this jaw dropping..... You have to just stabd back & admire this where ever you are standing... & its the first time I said that Since building Wing Zero Endless Waltz.... & i love Endless Waltz custom with both my kidneys......

I think if they dropped the DRAGOON unit and the pointed parts of the shoulders, Legend would look near perfect. Btw, how do you achieve that metallic finish? Do you just paint it with metallic paint or is there more to it?
RIGHT NOW i ahve legend, destiny, infinity justice and freedom all in 1/100 going to get golden gundam 1/100 to get teh whole set... but the thing is... all of the comments that i read here are all correct! dont even talk about the color or this gundam.. the one that i build... i looks good too... like usually, i will spend a lot of time to build a bodel kit just to do the dtails and stuff but then for legend... i did it really simple. didnt do much about it but just adding mroe colors on it and it already looks really nice! if u want to c some of the pictures go check out my space and please give comments http://likingwing.spaces.live.com/ and can some one tell me how to do those black shadow ish color thats on the silver legend.. i wanted to do those shaddow or gray stuff but is hard... i cant do it nicly. and if u have money. go get the legend, it is a really good model to get. danny you MIGHT want to get one too. not kidden is really not bad
o one last thing... there is only one thing bad about this model and that is the gun that legend have... when i was building it... i was having fun till i reach to the gun. the picture told me that to get for example.. c4 and c8 out and snap it togehter thats it. two peice with a pc peice. and thats it. there is no color no nothing. all gray. i ahve to paint the whole thing and for people who dont have paint then is just not good. but for people who knows then legend is a MUST GET model hg kit

set of 5, if you want to do the weathered/shadow similar to the picture. I think you'd have to airbrush black outline along the panel lines as a primer before you airbrush on the metalic paint. just make sure you don't cover it too much.

i only found it as 1/144 and it looks like it has Zeta gundams legs
now that pulled my eyes off my cake!! it's a beauty!! i wonder if the manufacturers will ever release such astonishing colours on the kits they produce. if they did, HGs would do fine for me instead of getting the slightly over priced MGs, always ending up being slightly fragile and breakable.
