I just saw it yesterday, and I gotta say that I was a bit disappointed in the movie. When I read the book, I couldn't put it down, but during the movie, at some point, I couldn't wait for it to be over. As a movie, it's okay, but compared to the book, I thought it just didn't have the same feel to it. I actually think Dan Brown's other book, "Angels & Demons" would've made a better movie. Oh well, I do give props to Ian McKellan. He played an awesome Lee Teabing.

good to see someone who likes the film, everyone ive talked to said they didnt enjoy it. was starting to think about just waiting for DVD, but i'll probably still go see it.

Never read the book but I thought it was a pretty good movie (the ending was pretty good and the albino guy gave me a quite scare) We also book our ticket online, however there are no seat allocation, its just first come first serve. BTW you should read http://www.howstuffworks.com/davinci-code.htm/printable it kind of provide you some facts that reveal that there some fiction in the book/movie.

i watched the movie, i'd have to say that it was GREAT MOVIE!!! but if i had read the book, i'd be disappointed, just like when i watched Memoirs of a Geisha, the book was way better than the movie. another book that i've read that i'm hoping doesn't get the hollywood treatment, John Allyn's 47 Ronin.

yea, its an awesome movie, but alot of facts (ex. the Golden Mean) was excluded. Waited in line for 40 min. for the movie...

if you like Tom Hamks, watch toy story... or Saving Pvt. Ryan... lol

Danny, that was my trick too! Although I really don't like the Roppongi Hills cinemas.

Here in France, this movie has received a very bad feedback from the specialists... I think this is because the director didn't respect some basical french place. But people will be more friendly with it. And the book has been a best seller here too. I will wait the DVD release and rent it (cinema is too expensive to watch a "maybe" good movie)

the movie was fine to me. not too over the top with suspense and surprises for the plot though. for some reason, i was more focused on tom hanks' hairdo. it looked strange and mysteriously out of place. solving that mystery seems more interesting to me. :)

I've been kinda wanting to see this also. I really enjoyed the book.

did'nt read the book, won't see the film at the cinema.... I might watch the film whn it comes out on DVD (ask a mate to lend it over) too much fuss and maybe turns out to be completely different from the book as usual

Boo! Hiss! More girly figures and Japan news! It sounds quite intresting, but its not really my cup o tea. Im surprised to see it released in Japan so soon though.

i was waiting when you will get to this movie. :-) there is a lot of fuss about it and I'm going to see it as soon as I can. Never read this book myselg (too bad), but I'm sure I will enjoy the movie.

havn't seen the movie yet, but I loved the book.

7th option: didnt read the book - but watched and loved the movie. though i felt there were some important parts (if not, a lot) of the novel missing from the movie. XP oh well, it would surely take well over 3 hrs to include all important things from the book. it was good enough for me

yea...ive read the book...its a nice story... i dont see why ppl take it so literally...its a novel...a work of fiction... ppl dont normally take the bible wordfor word...why are they makin such a big fuss over a film... ...guess theres no such thing as bad press...

I STILL havent seen it, If I get a chance Il probably watch it!! Just to see why everyones tripping.....
