Guys, you do realize that this is a custom model built by a pro? This is NOT something you can buy off store shelves.

I repeat, you CANNOT buy this model. Bandai has announced absolutely nothing about a MG Strike Freedom, and probably won't for a while.

The last MG model Bandai announced was the Gundam MK.II Titans version.

LOL you would think the pictures of the different models would've given it away, but I guess if you're not paying attention it's easy to miss that. I wonder how much longer until Bandai does release a MG Strike Freedom. When they do, I hope they thruster trails to put on the wings when the DRAGOONS are deployed. I always liked the "dragonfly wing" effect the thrusters had on the show. Sure it's similar in appearance to Destiny's "Wings of Light", but it still looks cool nonetheless.

It's true that the Gundam Seed Destiny 1/100 line is dead, but I think we'll see 1-2 MGs from GSD.. probably Destiny and Strike Freedom. The really poor model sales of Gundam Seed Destiny gave Bandai no choice but to axe the 1/100 line and move on to the more profitable (?) 1/144 one.

Now, no one knows what Bandai is planning next, but here's my guess:

As I've said before, the next MG is Gundam Mk. II Version 2.0, Titans version. The MG Nemo was released just yesterday. Note that this is the fifth Zeta related MG in a row.. Bandai is really milking the Zeta movies.

With the third and final Zeta movie being released next month, I'm guessing that the next MG after the MK. II will be The O from Zeta, which will most likely come out in April.

What Bandai releases afterwards is anyone's guess, but I believe Bandai will release the first Gundam Seed Destiny MG somewhere within this timeframe.

Note, this is PURE speculation on my part. Take it with a grain of salt. And sorry for the long post. :)

Like Danny said, this is a modded, kit-bashed kit. He did mention the parts come from various MG series. e.g. MG Freedom, 1/00 SFreedom, MG RX178 MkII ver2, MG God Gundam, etc. You'll noticed that when u truly scrutinized the parts n joints + the gimmicks. Now compare that to Core-Works's Strike Freedom and you'll easily mistaken (the Core-Works ver) for Master Grade kit rather than (actually) a resin kit.

Well you know, Cytex, Bandai actually has a MG The O prototype sitting around just waiting. There was a hobby show a few years back that they displayed a MG Marasai, a MG Zeong, and a MG The O. Showgoer were to vote on what one they thought should come out next. Zeong won.

I have started this hobby not very long ago. Perhaps I have
to somewhat grow into this 'world', so following question
may be odd/ stupid for a few.

As a fan of the Cosmic Era I am a fan of the original Strike
and Freedom Gundam.
My question is about the Freedom Gundam. Although the
ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom looks cool, I like the original
Freedom much more. Is Bandai ever planning a Perfect Grade
kit for the Freedom like they did with the GAT-X105 Strike?

Greetz,
