Definitely on my to watch list, like every good respectful ecchi anime fan, I guess ^^; Read the manga too since I couldnt wait, but/and seeing that Kawasumi Ayako is part of the voice actor makes me even more impatient to watch it! (looking forward Kanokon too for the same reasons)

I love the manga. I think the animation could be done soo much better. The first episode really had the same feel as the manga. Didn't lose any of the manga's atmosphere. I really enjoyed watching this first episode. One thing I really like was the OP. It was really catchy and I thought it was pretty cool.

Well, I'll be watching this pretty much purely down to Dannys recommendation, Which means that if it sucks, I'll be coming down to Mirai.inc with flaming torches and pitchforks!!! And probably some modern equivalents... But it's being made by Xebec, which can't be bad. Kanokon is being done by them as well. Kanokon vs To love-ru. Which is the more risque?

What a long day this will be for me! I just started work and I already want to go home and watch the first episode. Although I like all of the characters in the series I have a special fondness for Golden Darkness. Hopefully, they will fit her in this season. Anyone else like Yami-change (aka Golden Darkness)?

Yup yup, I'm quite satisfied! xD I keep on refreshing the share list till the thing come out and quickly download it... xD I really love the seiyuu casts since I listened to the dorama CD before! I just finished the first episode, I like it alot. Def on my watch list. Though, the story seems pretty dull, the characters were interesting and hopefully that twintail loli(?) will be introduced soon, drool. But, I think I liked Kanokon a bit better, cuter animation.

Hmmm.. It was actually pretty decent. Animation could have been better, but its all right. Some minor twists in the story also. Voices are pretty fitting from what I imagined of the manga (Hope Golden Darkness is voiced by Eve's seiyuu >_<) But yay to seeing more Eve in animation form! Rosario x vampire's conversion was just baddd..

Those lovely pupils can be seen in tankobon version of manga only. The Shonen Jump version doesn't have them either. I wonder if the DVD version will be more revealing. As for Kanokon, well the plot in anime is a little bit different than in manga and I really prefer paper version of this story. Rosario+Vampire was a scam, you cannot simply put 10 volumes of manga into 13 short episodes without hurting the story. In another words - YOU FAIL !!!!

I like how you used Dolphin as the measure of points~ It's little hard to start watching a show based on manga since you already know the story ahead and watching it from start makes it little hard. Although characters move and talk in the anime is a big plus.

Well, since the manga itself is a boob-fest, ecchi-heavy,pantsu-flashing, almost-no-arc-too-speak off manga, I’m happy enough if the anime retain quarter of what makes the manga enjoyable to me. I don't like work by the creator of To Love-Ru (he also did Black Cat). He takes proven story ideas and elements from old series and rehashes them with a heap of fanservice. I'll probably watch a few episodes if only to have the voices down for the doujinshi I read...

I hate it when an anime or manga gets the "OK, let's make it into an anime/make a manga, but let's censor it more/make it less mature" treatment. I like it when it gets the Girls Bravo treatment AKA "Let's make it MORE mature than the original [manga] by including NIPPLES/more mature content!". I'll still be watching this when it gets subbed, it just won't be as good as the manga to me. P.S when will you talk about Kamen no Maid Guy? That also got aired not too long ago.

just finished first ep of the series and thought i'd give my two cents. the good -probably the most drool worthy op and ed animations i've seen in a long time -animation sequence is very fluid -there's a lot of fanservice the bad -looks like another repetitive harem comedy -heavy TV censorship telling you to go buy the DVDs -peke's voice kind of annoys me, sounds too childish to me, he/it is supposed to be playing the guardian role -there's a lot of fanservice which is overkill the ugly i wish the manga actually had a plot, seems like some mindless fanservice every single week and its already been 10 volumes. when do we get some plot advancement because all i see the mangaka doing is introducing new characters. this is why i tend to lose interest in harem mangas/animes after a few volumes/eps. the whole thing is a giant *rooster*tease and i'm seriously beginning to doubt the main character's sexual orientation. well all that being said, i'd probably still watch every episode and buy some figures and the manga if its released in English. hopefully, the manga doesn't drag on for another 10 volumes before they decide to advance the plot, i can already see Rito with 20 girls in his harem. *facepalm*

I found their adaptation of Peke to be quite "interesting." While in transform mode he now has thick tentacles to wrap around Lala's body. Of course they over emphasize the tightening of the tentacles. Lala adds her own sound track of squeaks and moans to make it even more ecchi. I guess fan service strikes again! Love the voice of Haruna-chan!

I still remember one group that was scanlating To-Love-Ru; they had this self-made omake in their credits page about how Peke would make the clothes tighter and then there would be the classic ecchi sounds. Must be a dream come true for them now~

Just watched the first ep, I've caught a few chapters of the manga in Jump here and there and I have to say, as with most Jump series I like the manga more than the anime. That being said, I actually like the anime a whole lot. I don't know about the animation, but I think that Rito's seiyuu could be a little better. Also, I am now officially convinced that Japanese tv has become softcore. When the credits are written on the crotch of the main character, and the breasts of the supporting characters, yeah, softcore ^^;.

i'v fin downloading To Love-Ru fansub by Ayako the anime is kind da nice i think for now i would give 6.5 from 10 dolphins. The story reminds me of Dears, Onegai Teacher and Nagasarete Airantou the other anime that i download at the same time is Kanokon also sub by Ayako. Ecchi is totally the right word to describe this anime. Gawd I even had to find the right time to watch this one alone as there was just too many scenes that others here might find disturbing (or think that i'm a perv...lol). I have to agree with you though that they do a very good job at covering those pupils. hahah. not even a slight hint of them being seen.

To love-ru I love you! So I finally decided to give this series a try the first episode really turned me off but struggled through it and by the 3rd episode I really love it I think because of Sairenji. Very cute character and love the simple but Moe hair style. I do think the animation can be a bit better and my biggest complaint is that Rito looks like a complete dork. They should have modeled him after Ryouta in Kyo No Gononi for they look alike. But every week I shall wait eagerly for the next episode.
