Reminds me of the design of Eureka7 (which I didn't watch, save for a few episodes at random). Wait, don't tell me big eyes were another deciding factor in you watching this series. ;)
Dragons = hot girls ^___^ dragonaut its a good anime, not extraordinary, but good with great girls, nice fights and dragons...
Some of the animation was rather poor. Specifically when they go into transformer mode =/ Not sure if it will be any good. Just meh so far.
It's okay. I'm hit and miss with it. But enough to continue watching it. Of course huge breasted women can do that.
Looks interesting but is it worth picking up? Is it worth devoting time out of my week to watch it? ;) Although I have to say, the main female character does make it VERY tempting to watch.
I've been watching for awhile. It's not bad, but the CGI is pretty haggard. Also, they go a bit overboard on breast size (which is a huge issue for a loli anime fan such as myself). It's no Darker Than Black like you suggest, but so far, the story is good.
I am watching it every week. Teya is pretty hot lol
not really a master piece, but not bad either, for me i think they over emphasized the eyes and that somehow throws the entire anatomy out of perspective. don't think i'll be keeping this one.
Felt in love with Uno Makoto character design since WitchBlade, so Dragonaut is a must watch to me ^^ Like it for now (5ep seen)

It's a decent show but there's one thing that's bothering me and that's fanservice. Three girls with boobs bigger than my computer monitor and they all wear something showing massive cleavage.
I think it would not hurt to watch more anime and more anime!

I watched up to Episode 3 also. Unfortunately, it made me drop the series. From the very first episode, they cramped too much info into it. Introduced way more than 10 characters. The protagonist (forgot his name already) was pathetically emotional. Then Toa appeared at the end of it. Well, okay, I'll keep watching for now. Then comes episode 2 and the first dragons appears and we already have a casualty in the present setting. Plenty of action with Toa so I watched on. THEN...dragons and pilots started transforming...It took nearly 3 MINUTES to get that gruesome scene over with! Honestly, I think I would rather watch some Power Rangers go at it instead. The designs were not exactly impressive and yet they combine it with some lame script and voicing to torture you. The guy that pilots Howling Star seems to prick me off with his bold voice. And now the protagonist's best friend starts to lose his marbles too. Heck, I bared with School Days already, but this is just too much. So let's summarize: Emo Protagonist + Bad Transformations + Annoying voices > Cute Pink Haired Dragon Girl Sorry Toa
I dunno... Dragons and space travel aren't exactly similar words. but then again, looks interesting. i should check this out.

Been watching this since it looks nice. Character design pretty much like Witchblade. Animation is really good, nice blend of 3d and 2d. Plotwise, meh, it could be better imo. There's other anime that I prefer to watch over this.
Dragonaut is in my need-to-watch list but i've heard that it's like Evangelion...what do you guys think?
Uh I watch and I'm considering dropping it. Its really just a crappy mecha show that focuses on boobs. Its like Heroic Age, Zoids, and Ikkitousen got put in a blender.
"I guess this is the closest thing this season that would replace your Darker than Black? Worth checking out." Darker Than Black was boring though. At least this show is funny.
Its like, they trying to roll Gundam, Code Geass, and Digimon into one giant burrito. The only strong point of this anime is deadly boobs, story is as cheesy as shoujo manga. They should rename it to Boob-a-naut
The "dragon" designs are pretty neat - everything else is mediocre - have you ever watched Denno Coil, btw? - you should give it a try - especially ep. 4. - it's pretty innocent - but better than rubbish like this
Seriously, the only reason why I'm watching this show is because of Toa. This show is just so silly right now xD. The only anime that im actually enjoying in this season right now is Minami-Ke and Bamboo Blade. Coincidently, both of them are comedy and involves cute girls. Especially, Tama-chan from bamboo blade. Very cute~~ >.<

I'm still giving this show a chance. I'm trying to get through the episodes without having a good understanding of what the eff is happening. Like... who the heck is Toa?? They never explained anything about her except that she's an "Album"... HUH?! I do like the character designs, and the close-to-yuri relationship between one of the dragons and her master. (I can't remember the terms, so sue me). BUT the biggest pull for me right now is the Opening Song. With a song that good, there must be more to this anime, right?

Wierd show. But not in a "messing with your head" kind of way. It's on my current watch list but it's mainly to do with my curiousity on what will happen next. At the moment, lots of stuff is happening but the plot remains rather static.

Kinda hard to compare anything to Darker Than Black, but thats me just being the biased fan boy that I am ^^; Most anime with CG turn me off. I mean it just feels lazy to me. I've yet to see one where the CG does a good job of blending with the show..I'm trying to say Blue Submarine, but thats about all that can come to mind.
I quit watching it after ep5, too much oversized boobs~ :P
This is a great show. I just finished downloading 7 and am going to watch it soon. I like almost everything about it, but I feel the humongous boobs detract from the story a little too much...
most of the female char have got big boobs and makes the anime goes a bit haywired.. but the storyline seems to hook me somehow.. and of course.. i have no dislike to big ones XD
