Wow that looks pretty damn good. Revoltech always do better on robots though. I got the Evangelion Revoltech Eva-01 Test Type and they look mint XD
This Rei is IMO better than the one by Yamato... but not getting it hehe.
it looks quite ok since it's still in the technology development stage.. joints seems quite visible to me though.. but the main point of this type of figuring is that it can change it's posture to make it unique to one.. which in turn plays a big part in most fans..
Revoltech has really been amazing in the way that they make these poseable figurines. They have the same lifelike feel as the jointless figures, especially this one. Once again Japan proves that it can make quality products... not lifeless unimaginative junk like we see made in America. I have one of those wooden posable figures used for drawing. Rei will now replace that.

They really should have rolled this out before releasing other human revolvtechs like Revy. Looking good, but I don't think I'll be getting these. There's less incentive to pose these figures compared to the mecha or saber figures.
The revoltech Rei is definitely on my must-buy list.

Nice job on the close up Danny. I wasn't able to check it out in detail at WonFes also. I really like how they conceal the huge Revoltech Joint orb hehe.
I find it really strange on this figure. I would prefer mecha rather than characters. let see the final product first.

I'm a fan of both their mecha and frauline line. When I saw the Saber series, I got them both immediately. Can't wait for Rin Tohsaka. (I'm not a fan of Evangelion to get Rei Ayanami)

I might have missed this, but what IS Fraulein Revoltech? Is it another sculpter or something? That articulation makes my Revy revoltech look stiff.
kintaro Fraulein comes from the German word woman (Frau),lein I think its line or something like that so I guess you can translate it to Woman line or line woman. This rey is definitely on my buy list
i love the revoltech series, got both versions of saber even. Definitely gonna be looking out for this. I hope the final product will look better, there are still some areas that could use some changes. ^^
while im not a fan of poseable figures with articulation and all that stuff that Rei figure looks nice. i just might actually buy one in the near future. God bless you
I'll get Rei Ayanami and check out some othero nes too. I'm still wondering whether or not to get Saber :S Anyways, they make a great manikin to draw some good poses! :D
the revoltech series looks great, but seems cheaply put together seeing as how much they cost. I bought the Eva-01 f-type, and it keeps falling apart.. luckily it goes back together easy.

it's realy beautyfull and interesting but i don't like figure wear nomal custome because figure's joint look too bad .This kind figure is more suitable with figure wear armour kind costume
It looks good. I'm holdig out for a Rin Tohsaka one, to pair off with my Revoltech Saber. :) Posability and look have always been a balance issue with figures. If you prefer quality sculpts, the figurines are better, but I personally like posability, so I keep preferring posable figures.
CrazyAnimeTuga, Fraulein (Frau means woman) actually means lass or young lady in German. Little translations like this make less regret taking this course when I was younger.
It'd be nice to make sockings and outfits for these type of pose-able figurines! :D

Hummm... I agree, the saber Revoltech is the only I like... And the Dante figure is also cool.
Kinda reminds me of Microman/Microlady. The latest Microlady figures are pretty good in hiding those articulation joints.
I've been late to the game of collecting anime toys/figures, but I'm glad I've come back to the Fraulein Revoltech: Rei! It looks amazing and wayyyy better than the toys in the U.S. ::sob:: We can learn a thing or two (or three or more) from the Japanese companies/sculptors.
I'm a fan of Pocco from this series. She is modeled after an illustration by Shunya Yamashita and looks amazing on my shelf! None of the other Frauleins tempt me so far, but I'm sure there will be some more I'll cave into and buy. I have to REALLY like a character or design to buy a figure with articulated joints.
