Theres a new type of ladies fashion hitting the streets of Tokyo...

This new fad is called Eroshutsu-Kei (エ露出系). The word is made up of a combination of Ero (エロ) and Exposure (露出). Kei (系) means "type".
As you can see, this girl is walking about in public in her undies. If you are going to be around in Tokyo, you may catch a glimpse of girls just like her.

DAYUUUUUMMM

So Danny, you're new mission is to do the Stormtrooper dance with one of these girls.

I do have one fear. We've seen guys cross dress as maids and anime characters. I fear a rash of blindness if some weirdo decides to cross dress like this... (>

BOy is she daring to wear that kind of outfit!!! but this only happens in the summer right danny? I dun think I have seen girls walking around like that when I last visited Tokyo.

She did seem embarassed at the end of the video when the host made a comment. I wonder if she ever got into trouble on the train??

I remember seeing a picture of a girl dressed in the exact same way except that her jeans are cut in a way which makes it look like her she's exposing her pantsu ^^;

Got to try to find that picture.

Nope, haven't caught this one yet. Still, take a walk in Shibuya or Harajuku any day and you will still see plenty of girls dressed so scantily its hard to keep oneself from nose-bleeding.

I seriously am against this kind of fashion. It's not because I'm conservative or anything but have you SEEN FAT GIRLS IN THEIR UNDIES?!?!?!

I once barfed at a FATSO wearing what's supposed to be a "hanging" shirt and turned it into a "hugger" *Shivers* What a nasty sight.

my motto in fashion: Just wear something that will make you nice to look at, not something to barf at.

Isn't that too risqué?

Personally I'm not interested in that kind of girl, she gives me a sense of superficial being that I tend to hate and avoid. Call me old-fashioned if you want but that is ridiculous.

Now I just hope she doesn't encounter perverts. Hopefully in Japan there are almost no rapists around (officially) or that trend wouldn't even exist.

Cold? Yes. Pragmatic and logical? Yes. Conservative? Depends. Secretly turned on? Hell no!

Having seen this on a few sites now, I have to call shenanigans on this. Makes for good TV but seems too staged to be an actual "on the street" style. Has anyone seen other reports, photos, etc. of someone else wearing something like this?

This is definitely why we'll never understand the womens mind. They want to provoke men all the time and when it's time to "do it" they always try to get way with the typical headache excuse. I do not approve this type of clothing because there's to much exposure, not in favor of full clothing but with a small exposure is ok but not like this.

Looks good to me! Though until i see lots of people doing it, i don't think i'd refer to it as a new style.

There may be the occasional unattractive(to put it nicely) person walking around in this attire, but i think that would only be once in awhile.

@001: Of course they have the right to do what they want, but hopefully it is in Japan. Otherwise they would have major troubles with law, religious groups, feminists...

Or even have safety issues. Some people would confuse them with prostitutes, perverts would have a great opportunity to get crazy (it would even look like some consentment when you look at it)... But more importantly, think of the kids!

People would reply to me "But who cares?". Ah well. Those people should not cry back if there is trouble. If I were there and that trouble would happen, I would pretend to have seen nothing.

Same here, I have seen young college women doing this in Florida. Although, not as scantly as this young woman. Usually they are wearing a tight unbuttoned blouse, sweater or shirt.

Maybe I'm getting old, but it's more fun to see the hint of something. Let ones mind fill in the rest. Now I see all her goods, there is no mystery anymore. Being mysterious is to a woman's advantage, since a man's mind is a powerful thing. ^o^

Hmm... doesn't this video feel a little bit staged...

Thanks for sharing that clip Danny. The best part for me was listening to Koda Kumi's Cutie Honey song in the background. Gosh, what does that make me for being able to immediately identify that song...

well, not more appealing than a bikini and covers a lot more, so what's the problem? A lot of girls are topless on beaches out there, so this fashion is just a summer fashion, plus her style is great, with nice accessories, so i voted:
