Update:Erm, its on the PS2, not the PSP. Got confused with the PSP version ^^;
Going to leave the text as it is as my punishment for lying ^^;

Pre-order details for the Haruhi PSP game just went up to AmiAmi. Included with the first few batches of the game is this action figure of Haruhi. The retail price is 10,290 yen and will be released on January 31st 2008!

I dont have a PSP but I do want this figure. Not sure of 10,290 yen is worth it just for the figure alone.

Cool figure and a nice outfit for Haruhi! I don't own a PSP, but I may have to buy this one. Looks like there is some limited motion involved in the figure.

If one really wants it they could easily justify the expense.

The figure looks great. Will be pre-ordering the game ASAP. But, yeah, this figure comes with the PS2 game which is out next January. The PSP game is out this year, not sure if it comes with a pre-order gift though.

Just wondering, being a geek, especially in terms of Persocon, does that make one an non-Otaku?

I think Otaku means "obsess" with something. heh.

Lovely figure of the almighty one. ^^ heheh. I thought that I was at a loss for it being bundled with a PSP game...but hey, I got a PS2. I need to find another way to earn some moohlas to get me this. Figure collection is just darn too expensive. X

I really want this Haruhi!! I hope hlj carry this item, because it seems amazon won't ship this one overseas ;_; I sold my playstation longtime ago, and even if I have it, I could not understand a thing of this game since it's all in japanese ^^b but still I MUST get it.

Might be a good reason to buy a legal PS2 game. Could be a good way of fighting piracy.

Haruhi's outfits are awesome, too bad it's articulated, in my opinion (I really don't like human-articulated figures). In fact I'm more interrested in the game itself, but have no Japanese PS2 so... well, maybe a chance to save some money for once ^^;

That's a nice Haruhi figure, and with an other outfit than the usual school uniform or bunny outfit.
I remember there was a picture with this outfit in the latest NewType (which also contained the announcement of the second Haruhi season, but no date)

I'm tempted to get the game for the figure, as I don't have a ps2 (its all about 90s games for me most of the time). I really like the original clothing design, 萌え

Oh if only I had the money. The figure looks pretty good despite being articulated.

hmm,

I'm a bit torn on this one. It's a decent enough figure, but i'm not really interested in the game and the price tag is a little hefty...

The figure looks totally awesome, but 10,000 Yen is just way too much for the sake of one figure.

I wand this super limited figure !

can't find anywhere to import it -_-

actually getting a import PS2 game play on an American version PS2 is not a prob with swap magic. I have some imported game. For me the hard part is to get a pre-order on this limited edition.

ya, that's a early pre-order, I wander if the figure will be THAT super limited.

The pre-production figure looks good, but don't they always. This is an expensive figure for what one will receive...

I think I will pass, add a little more and buy two figures. Death-Sensei and a few others look nice. So many great figures! I'm really trying hard to be more selective of what I buy.

Like the figure, but the price is a little steep for me. Maybe a Mikuru figure along the same lines?

Funny figure. Haruhi plays superhero now?
The price is a bit high for the figure alone, though.

Talking about coincidence, I've thought a few weeks ago what a Haruhi Suzumiya game would be about. Walking in various places mentioned in the light novel and anime, a whole slew of NPCs to talk about with bird view angle, and some fights starring Nagato Yuki and Koizumi Itsuki RPG style? Adventure game a la Lucasarts with some insane inventory? Mini-games involving Mikuru Asahina (dressing, acting), Kyon (menial tasks), Koizumi Itsuki (logic tests), Nagato Yuki (space and time manipulation)? I guess nothing of that would happen.
By the way, if you want to create such a game with those ideas, please give me credit. Thanks. ^_^

No, I did not see things like that. I was quite disappointed with the trailer, which is messy, disorganized and quite pitiful by the way. I hope the game will not be boring as the images they showed.

Otherwise it would be the entire image of Haruhi that would be stained.

Long live Haruhi Suzumiya!!

Ooooooo..... £50 is pretty steep... even for a game in this country. Usually its £40-ish for PS2 games. But I spose... you could factor in the extra £10 as the figure cost....

Are there any plans to make the whole group with yuki, Kyon, Itsuki and Mikuru? They look lovely and show more variety from the regular school uniforms, would love to get them all if that was a possibility.
