great anime ive seen the first ep of it ,im waiting the new game on ps3 :) i hope its good like the first one ^^
I actually found the anime to be rather entertaining, although it doesn't quite catch the essence of the game as the action sequences are too fast and it's hard to make out what happens sometimes. Also, dante isn't quite cocky enough for my tastes. But then He was best in Devil may cry 1!!
I found the anime to be quite boring too. Kinda disappointing due to the original trailers for it they released this spring got me really pumped and excited to see it. That slot machine does look pretty fun though.
I havn't seen the anime but I havn't heard great stuff from it either =/ Slot machines ont he other hand, I'd like to see that of Devil May Cry. I remember seeing the Hokuto no Ken version of it XD
I'm currently watching it and it's very cliché. Not a great anime so far. However, I'll stick with it until the end just in case something good happens.
Love the first and the third game. didn't see the anime yet. I would try it went I have time. ya, the slot machine look fun. wonder if there are other game or anime base slot machine...
I'm very disappointed by all the reviews so far for this anime. I will still watch it, but I will be very skeptical about it.
Haven't missed a single episode of Devil May Cry ^_^ the show is amazing, all of the major players from the games are there especially Lady
DMC anime is kinda disappointing. It doesn't have a main plot or a concrete storyline, just mediocre to dull random new story per episode. C'mon, give us another mass demon invasion led by a powerful demon lord who wants to take over the world. At least that kind of story sticked closely to the game.
I have watch DMC up till episode 3, the animation and action are pretty good but i still don't knw what's the main plot line suppose to be, the past four episode has just been killing demons, I just hope it pick up soon, maybe a hint of a bigger plot.
I have seen the first 3 eps and while I like the animation style there just isn't enough of a storyline to keep me interested. I may keep picking it up but it is not on my must watch every week list. (Kind of like where bleach is at the moment.)
I did a review on this when the first episode came out which I didn't think was half-bad, just needed more demon killing. So far though I'm really disappointed in how the battles all seem to be one-sided as all the "Devil Hunters" beat the demons with ease. I'm still watching though to see if anything good comes out of it. While i was in Japan I saw a bunch of DMC pachinko machines but never took a picture.
Was a bit disappointed with the first episode. I prefer Sky Girls or iDOLM@STER they held my attention longer than DMC. CAPCOM is most prob chasing in on the franchise brand for DMC4. I prefer seeing Karen-chan in her motion suit ^^6
Yea, the anime is a huge disappointment. It was successful in making me buy the second and third installments though, haha. I can't wait for the fourth game.
Was curious and saw the first episode, but it was quite disapointing... didn't feel the same pleasure I had with the game, fights are too fast to be enjoyed. It can't rivalize with Claymore IMO ^^
I saw too the first two episode. I'm quite a fan of Dante's Stylish behavior ^^, but i'm totaly disappointed with the anime, no story and not so good fighting sequence. .:G:.
I too am disappointed. I had to drag myself to get to episode 4 just to see Trish came out. Not too much action and stylish moves present in the anime which was what the game was known for really. I'm definitely dropping it. Claymore is much much more interesting IMHO. ^^
Yeah, I haven't been too impressed with DMC anime either. I practically fell asleep trying to watch the 2nd ep but I thought the 3rd was a bit better and the 4th held my interest. I guess much like you, I was expecting the anime to be much more exciting and cool like the video games, which I also love. Guess the ultimate anime for me is still out there yet to be made.
really disappointing nowhere near as good as all the other anime currently on air. Likely to give it a pass
as you said, the story isnt going anywhere, i watched it till episode 5 and its really crappy... and the thing with "sky lolis" is right too! its awesome, everybody watch it!!!
This weeks EP of Claymore was awesome. DMC should have been more like Claymore.
a friend of mine advised this anime for me to put it on my watchlist but since sky girls is on my list and i cant help to put it down, i guess i have to finish sky girls first and watch dmc then. can i ask you danny? is dmc more or much less attractive than claymore?

I just hope for a flashback episode which dates back to DMC1 and 3 timelines.
seen 4eps of it and my opinion is... ugly, dissapointing, and just a passing through show. let's see some of the next eps they should add more sword, melee act than banging a gun!!
