Aaah, I went last year to attend Comiket, Chara Hobby and Wonderfest. I don't have money to go this year ;_;

It'd be awesome to meet up with english speaking people there tho, the hostel I stayed in was very cheap and it was nice talking to people from all over the world who also stayed there.

Next year I plan on going to Japan, and hopefully meet the Choo master. I figure I'll need a new credit card before I hit Japanese soil...gunpla,figures,anime,manga,gunpla,etc.,gunpla.

My next trip to Japan isn't till Xmas and New Years at the end of this year. Hopefully I'll get to meet you then Danny, and teach you how to use your camera, lol. But not like you need to be taught anything since you do awesome photos anyway.

Going to Tokyo on the 23rd of August for a week. Can't wait. I'm trying to save as much money as possible and i plan to throw away all my clothes at the end of the holiday to fit all my booty in the suitcase ^ ^;

A group meet would be soo cool! Then we could meet other people as well ^_^

I am only going for 7 days, 2 of which will be spent going to and form the airport, so fitting i'll have 5 days to do things.

I leave the UK on the 24th August and leave Japan on the 30th, so basically i have the 25th - 29th to do things. I will be staying in "Shinjuku New City Hotel" which is in Shinjuku (yes i know its obvious xD).

I don't know how much time i will have, but if you plan a group meet i will try to attend ^_^ 

I am going to Akihabara on the 29th because i know if i go any earlier i won't have any money left xP

Darn, I can pretty much dream about Japan for the moment, Went to Japan almost ten years ago, LOVED it. didn't had enough time and $$$. We're Expecting our second baby by next month so its gonna be extra tight for me... No Gundams :(

I'm placed in Fukushima, but I shouldn't have much trouble taking the shinkansen down for Wonderfest 12/8 as well as Comiket 18-19/8.

It would be awesome if we could meet indeedI'll be in Tokyo between 8/9 and 8/13. Prolly in Akihabara on the 13, then i leave to nikko for a day, then Nagoya, kyoto, Osaka and all the townw around, and I guess I'll be back to Tokyo on the 28 cause my plane is on the 29 :)

I had made plan to travel to Japan this summer but buying a new car last month kinda throw that idea out of the windows.

Just a few questions: 
1) When is the cheapest time to go to Japan? 
2) Would that coincides with anime figure show etc?
3) Would there be a chance of meeting you? =)

I am going to Japan. From 17 of septembre till 16 of oktober. It is my second time that I visit this very special freaky but interesting country. I travelled in the region of Hiroshima, Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo... Do you have any sugsestions for other places to visit in Japan? This year it will southside, the northside and TGS2007 Also, do you know some good adresses in Akiba to buy second hand games?
And not forget some good places to do out in Tokyo... :)

It would be nice to meet up with you Danny. But I'll probably won't be going to Japan until May next year :) I think the summer is a bit too warm, May is just fine :) (and during Ayumi Hamasaki 's concerts ;p)

although I have a feeling I'd like to go for a week at the end of the year, like I did last year, but I have to see what situation I'm in at the end of the year :)

I just went a couple months ago to Japan and I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon ToT .... at least not this year.

I look forward to a chance to meet you too Danny.  I try to go to Japan at least twice a year, but the last two years it hasn't worked out.

This trip will keep me in the Osaka area, spending time with my fiancee's family and wedding plans...

I agree, it would be nice if a group of use could get together to attend an event.

For those of you going to Japan in August - the "B-Boy Park" is happening in Yoyogi Park in Harajuku on the 18th & 19th of AUGUST.

Check it out if you can! Its one of the largest break-dance festivals in the world.

Its amazing to see how good Japanese are at dancing !!!!!!!!!!!

I was in Japan 5 days ago ...I think... I'm losing track of time ;;. Currently at cousin's place in Korea. 

I will be coming back to Tokyo early August, definitely in time for Uchimizu (August 3rd - 9th).
It'd be great if we can all meet up for that! Too bad I'm going to miss Wonder Festival ToT

Don't know where I'm going to be staying yet but I'm a walking GPS so no worries there. Stayed at Taito-ku last time but I want to try a different place this time around.

Yay, I won't be there this summer, but beginning from mid september I'll be studying in Tokai University for 6½ months Japanese language, culture, society, history etc. I'm actually Computer Science major, but took east Asian studies as my minor. (or actually planning on taking).

Would be great to meet you if you happen to have freetime at somepoint between september 15th (arrival) and march 31st. (school ends then and I'll return by 1st april). I still don't know where I'm going to stay but I'll probably rent a guesthouse with few other students. I can tell you later when things clear out.

My Wife and I will be visiting Japan this Friday (Sept' 7, 2007). We'll visit Osaka first and then make our way up to Tokyo on Sept'15 and stay until Sept'18 (before going to Hakone).
