In this case, "mountain"(yama) refers to "boobs as big as mountains" and "wall"(kabe) refers to "as flat as a wall". Yama Onna Kabe Onna is the first prime time J Drama where the theme is about boobs!
You may have recognized Misaki Ito by now who played Hermes in Densha Otoko. In this drama, Misaki plays Emi who works at Marukoshi department store in Ginza. Emi is the Kabe Onna while Marie (played by Kyoko Fukada) plays the Yama Onna who has boobs so big that she cant do up her shirt button properly - the button keeps flying off ^^;
There is the usual rival group of ladies as well as the store owner (and his father) who keeps coming onto Emi. The silliness of the drama and all the boob jokes make it an interesting watch. Emi nearly chokes to death from a button that shoots off Maries's shirt due to the size of her huge boobs. Marie's boobs are so big that she has to rest them on the table during lunch etc etc ^^;
Just like Nodame, Death Note, Sexy Voice and Robo (still have not finished that), Yama Onna Kabe Onna was originally a manga thats been given the live action treatment. The drama is aimed at the female audience but fans of boobs will also enjoy ^^; Yama Onna Kabe Onna is on every Thursday at 10PM on Fuji TV. The first episode was last week so if you want to pick this up then you should be able to easily find it.
BTW, I didnt use the usual term "eyes" in this post as that would have been too confusing ^^;
And before I forget, a quick Japanese lesson. Oppai Seijin (おっぱい星人(おっぱいせいじん)) is the term used for a person who really really likes boobs ^^;

Wow! So not only are nose bleeds abundant in manga and anime, but they're abundant in the J-Dramas, too? ^^; The acting in the American "drama" stuff is absolutely horrid. Is it the same case with the Japanese counterparts?

From the pictures Maria's b00bs doesn't seem to be that big. It even looks like she's exaggerating for them to look big. heheh! Looks interesting though so I might just pick it up. The guy with the glasses looks like the one in Nodame. Are they the same?

This is the sort of thing I find interesting about the Japanese. They can take a subject like this and aim it at a female audience. You know that wouldn't work here the states. I do enjoy Ito-san, she fits well into the character she has played. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in looks, exspecially when her hair is up and she smiles. I also enjoy Koike Eiko a lot as well. Often she plays the dominate nasty woman type. Since her character is the antagonist to Ito-san's character it should be a lot of fun! Yes, Tanihara-san is one of my favorite male actors as well. I also like 時任三郎 Tokito Saburo a lot as well. This show does have a good cast, I think... @BeLe, No, not the same guy. I checked it out and this is Nukumizu Youichi. He probably looks familiar since he was in Densha Otoko. Listen to me, I sound like Mister Drama... ^^;

Me and my friends saw Ito Misaki in person once when we were out shooting a film project near Tokyo Station. Her slim and tall physique gave her away although she was wearing sunglasses and a big hat, Audrey Hepburn style. Looks even better in person.

Looks like a fun drama. Once I've finished Gokusen I'll give this a watch. This is the reason why J-Drama beats British Drama, It's fun, excting and original. They don't focus on murders all the time. Dunno if anyone agrees, but Ito Misaki looks a lot younger when dressed as the store clerk.

wooo, looks interesting. looking forward to a properly subbed series. kinda hard to find accurate english subs where i am. most of the time, the english subs looks like someone just ran them through babelfish in a hurry O__o man, kyoko fukada is one of the cutest j actress around. remember seeing her in "Friends" way back. she definitely had a little too much chubs there ^__^; but i guess it paid off here, when she slimmed down and maintained her... uh, "eyes"... =P will definitely be hunting for this series... and the other one you talked abt. the one with one guy and multiple girls, nudity included? for the love of ecchiness, i cant remember the title... +___+

He works in a hospital full of bad docters who only help the patients that are seriously injured because in that way then the patients would pay more due to their injury

I like the way Japanese people view comedy (with crazy innuendos), not what I usually witness here in North America, where they tend more on mocking people and use crude humor than anything else. Throw a boulder at me for that if you want, but it's true. I wonder what the symbol of the mountain-climbing would mean. I'd really like to watch that, just for fun!

Hey Danny. I went ahead and checked it out. It's actually a very funny show! It had me laughing the whole way through. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of not only the acting, but the actual production as well. It's leaps and bounds over the "drama" stuff we got over here. Thanks man!

Someone was soft-subing this but dropped it after the first episode. ^^; @D_Blade, No boulder throwing from me. I think the really sad part is how they try to sell us on the story it's a reflection of real life. I'm just not buying... Especial when shows like "Are You Being Served?" are very popular on Public Television. In climbing, a sheer face of rock is referred to as a wall. This scene is from her reoccurring dream so... You won't be disappointed with this show. It's non-stop fun right down to the sounds that go along with the boob action. ^^;

This is an interesting Drama. But I don't remember Misaki Ito having such big boobs. hehe Infact the Girl staring at Misaki in kobe30.jpg is a gravue model name Eiko Koike, She has some of the biggest boobs that I have seen in the Japanese Idol business. Its a pity that they are not emphasizing on her boobs. Search for Eiko Koike, if you dont believe me :P

@neko, sometimes my listening skills are not good, but I thought it sounded a little like Osaka-ben. His characters mannerisms are right too. In dramas, they often portray Osaka and others from the Kansai area as being loud mouth and unkept. Those Kanto people look down on Kansai people as inferior. ^^; Yes and everyone teases her about it too. ^o^ @BeLe and D_Blade, no problem... Yes for those who are wondering, her bra is padded. It's was shown in the Summer Drama preview. As for Koike-san, those are original equipment. I really like that part in the first episode. ^o^ The second grab above the rock wall one in Danny's post.

Just watched it. What a "dynamite plan" indeed. Damn that lucky little devil who got to touch them! Hope it doesn't become a habit for him when he grows up! And hmmm, Marie offering to show the insides of the "bag". Wouldn't mind! Time for Kabe Onna Megumi to "bust up" then. Not a bad drama.
