I can see how this can generate a lot of money in the eroge business...
The image below shows a tripod on the table with a camera mounted (item 1). In this case its processing images from the guy with his hand stuck out. The image of his hand is displayed on the LCD (item 3).
The guy with the glove reaches out to the hand on the display and can actually feel that he is grasping the other guys hand (item 4+5). The guy with the glove can also feel his hand being tugged or squeezed by the other guy.
Those who are interested in giving this a whirl can get their booty along to the Virtual Reality Expo being held at Big Sight between the 27th and 29th of this month.

Just seen robotic arms while visiting the Massachusetts's Institute of Technology museum. As it is fairly obvious for surgery or high-technology and therapeutic purposes, I feel it could be interesting for some in eroge (see Japanese Dating post)... Not much else to say.

Back in the days, i was working on a virtual reality projecy with a glove that could manipulate a virtual turntable. but there wasn't force feedback like these. Looks cool thouogh,gives your hands a gundam cool look!

This glove opens up a window of possibilities for Eroge....Just like how Nintendo did Motion Sensor control on the Wii. DVD Ero games may be able to follow the same route. Think about how satisfying grabbing Chi Chi would be hehehehe hehehehe

Cool - It would be great for metal gear/ medal of honor type games where you could actually fire simulated guns and rifles - especially good for countries like Japan and the UK where firing a live-shot rifle is pretty difficult because of gun ownership laws, etc. Saying that though, might be a bit extreme if it felt like you were snapping someone's neck :s

I have been following cybernetics for the past year and I must say, this is a step closer torwards cybernetic/robotic limbs. This would be handy for many things, mainly real life applications such as bomb disposal, surgeory procedures, brain surgeory, etc. Good to see awesome things are coming out of Japan.
