I'd just take a personal plane trip to his house and scare him with the lightsaber. But before you bonk him on the head with an antique lamp have him ask who you are and then reply by ad-libbing that line from Space Balls as follows, "..x_t_r_m... I am your father's, cousin's, brother's, best friend's, roommate, who bought your crappy junk!" xD

sorry for all the suffering you are dealing with the vader costume, I'm working on a Boba Fett costume but I'm doing it myself, paying for something just to unpaint then fix and paint again, X_T_R_M must feel the dark side of the force and ship himself to hell with his paypal orders.
ez-off oven cleaner takes paint off nicly without destroying the plastic. fiberglass .. obviously all that damage is from some guy who doesn't know how to paint professionally.... and probably used a can of paint instead of a professional airbrush (although even amatures screw up airbrushes) and also didn't sand him down between coats... sloopy sloopy.. from far off he looks good but any closeups would get an eyesoar.. good luck on fixin him... and thanks for the warning on a half-a** dealler
FUZAKERUNA! (ふざけるな!) indeed. Danny, is there any of such star wars costumes available in the shop over in Japan? It would be much better as you will be able to get the feel of the product rather than having to meet sellers like them.
Ouch. Definitely deceptive over-selling... But wait--- Remember Episode IV? Maybe you can pass as the Vader in his battle-damaged post-Clone Wars armor, before he fixed himself up in Episode V. LOL :)
Wow.....I would be pissed after recieving that so called "chain" that I could have pulled out of any of my sweaters. I feel for you man.
Sorry to hear that your armor came out like this. Reminds me of my car with tiny dents and dust in the paint (first time I painted my car, I don't know how the dust got in the enclosed and ventilated room). Thanks though for the FUZAKERUNA saying, I will be able to use that ^-^.
Hey danny, With the amount of money you spend, could you not buy a proper suit professionally made rather than through jerks off ebay. Most of them seem to be some sort of a cheap scam. Saw it in the storm trooper and now the vader.
geez louise! what a freaking rip off... well, you just saved me some $$$. was thinking of getting a helmet or two for display, not for wearing (no seriously, i got some shelves i wanna fill up, lol) FUZAKERUNA!!!~
This is madness, this is blasphemy this is bull crap!!!! completely no business integrity, i feel for u danny.

A few dabs of fibreglas and some paint and you'll be good to go. Maybe you should wear a bandana over top?
Battle damage effect....
Yes, the helmet is made not to be worn... So the following from their website: ..."The lenses are high quality optical lenses for clear vision."... Then later: ..."The helmet features straps and padding for comfort and a snug fit as well as a screen-accurate mouth grill. The dome fits perfectly on top of the mask and connects tightly with a bolt going from the dome and locks in the inside of the mask with a nut. THIS ENABLES YOU TO MOVE AROUND WITHOUT FEARING THAT THE DOME WILL FALL OFF." Really, why lie to a customer. When you read something like this you expect merchandise to be just stated. Sure there will be people who say Danny Choo is complaining again. I think we all would...

sigh, people are just so DAMN lazy to make a better suit eh? I can never trust those people.
Wow you got ripped off sooo hard. Did you use Paypal? If so I'd think you could get your money back. Poor Danny, I guess you found out about the dark side of the Ebay force the hard way.
Ouch man. Makes me glad the costume I bought she told me everything of how everything is gonna look. And even though it doesn't look exactly authentic, I could try and modify the Link costume myself. I hope it doesn't feel like a pain in the ass when you're modifying it Danny or how you had to modify your Stormtrooper. x.x
It seems quite bad. On the bright side, you will have to do your own improvement & adjustment to it that will make it unique. How come you did not left a bad evaluation to that guy ?
I noticed you simply named the entry "Timeless Movie Props." Is this because you want your site to conjure up Google ads for Timeless Movie Props, with hope that users will click on them, in turn giving you money that was the money Timeless Movie Props used to pay for the ads. So what I'm saying is that this entire entry is an elaborate plan to get your money back! :P Clever! Sorry ;__; That really is some crap workmanship though. And after paying 1000+ for it, too.
That is indeed bullcrap (FUZAKERUNA! (ふざけるな!)) and I would not stand for it. Look in the Ebay Community or help section and file a fraud claim with this guy if you want your money back. False advertising is a crime, and he is screwed if he is in the USA. I wouldn't stand for that crap, and if it were me paying $1000+ USD I would go after the son of a gun.
Holy crap, I remember reading about CostumeJunkie on your site, and that was bad enough, this is just horrendous. Just what the hell~!? @_@; Hope you get some sort of resolution about this =/
it's like a "breach of contract" kinda situation. thats the dark side of ebay
Spending another USD15000 to hire a Hitman doesn't sound so bad at all. That seller should really be given a healthy can of lead whoop ass.
lol @ Danny says... .... --; seriously though...this is one of the reasons why I am so hesitant of buying products online from independent sellers. There's just no guarantee that WYSIWYG.
FUZAKERUNA indeed xD That really is appauling, thats why i never trust ebay. But are you still going to keep it? and just try and do it up? And i suppose the one good thing is that people who take photos of you wont see it in that much detail, so for show outside i guess your safe, but its still stupid to big yourself up if you can't live up to it >.
Gawd... the seller is totally in F*ckin denial :P Sorry about the imperfections o_o
Oww sh*t :-P hope you get all that fixed or at least into better shape :>
Hey Danny I am surprised you got the vader armour from ebay. I never buy "hardware" from ebay that you cant see for yourself first hand. Well theres always a risk. Don't cosplay shops in Japan sell Star Wars Gear?
i read both ur storm trooper and darth varder costumes a momment ago.. it was the most disturbing piece of S*** that i've read!! Such people who fake it off should just rot somewhere!! and i dun think 1 FUZAKERUNA! (ふざけるな!) is damn enough.. you need at least a million of them to do the job...have you try reporting to ebay regarding both the incidents? and post a bad BAD BAD remake on their profile page if they have one... *feeling ripped off...ANGRY!!! THIS IS MADNESS!! THIS IS DANNYCHOO!!!! RAWR!!!!!!!
Yeah, that really sucks! And judging from the page, it looks like you paid more than $1000 for it!!! You should really get your money back. What really sucks though is that is not like you can make something like that, you almost always have to buy it...:(

For smeothing quite expensive, the quality really horrible. I would have ask for a refund...
seems like a certain rm1.2m house http://bigstick-freshturd-hotday.blogspot.com/2007/03/random-posts-and-th-law-of-averages.html
fibreglass? don't think it has any. It seems homemade more. dam... I like a bobafett armour but, after seeing twice you've got.. scammed like that, I'm beginning to like..no..must not buy XD FUZAKERUNA scammers! (X,x#)C=(>,>c) *doosh!*
sigh.. it relli do kinda suck but don worry u'll get it fixed sometime!
お久しぶりです:) 赤丸ばっかりでビックリしました! これはちょっと…;やばいですね;

Disturbing. I feel sorry for you, since you spend a lot of money and got tricked like that. What are you going to do? Fix the Costume or try to get your money back? Wait, you said you're trying to fix it. I still think the Helmet is way to big, or something else is a bit wrong in proportion. Interestingly enough, it looks right in the pictures at ebay. Wonder it that's really the same costume.
The guy has some cheek feeding you BS like that. Ebay man,it's a risky place but at the same time its useful.
I expected more. The quality of the product does not worth the price paid. It's almost worth it sell the suite as a un-finished kit.
XII, What I will probably do is get a better helmet in the future. This one is way too big ~~; Suzukoさん、 やられましたよToT Akiraman, Windbell, Not really. There is a place that sells a helmet though. Arekusu, Will attempt to do it up. Hangmen13, Well said! Wildarms, Do a search for Timeless Movie props to find out ^o^ Jay, He shipped 6 months after meaning that I could not leave feedback - he is a clever guy. Ricky, I dont know what it is with people who sell star wars stuff @.@ Homless_homo, LoLed at your comment ^^; Jorge, Your boba looks cool!
i received something disturbing in my email...and it has got to do with this post..wonder if other members received it..
TinyRedMan, I received that mail too. I wanted to forward it to Danny, but I have no clue what his email is, and I can't find it here on the site! Danny! Help!
WTF !!!! Unbelievable !! "DON'T THINK, ACT...ACT NOW!" he said *_* The only thing that should be done is a high-kick into his nose to make him eat his teeth ^_^ ...this is the dark side's solution to this kind of problem ! ;)
Got mine as a comment on my blog. I have nothing to do with it, I hate people whining and moaning (which he did in the post) so I deleted it ^^. No harm done.
Sorry that hes going around defacing your blogs. He claims that I wore it for 3 months. If I wore the hard parts without the soft parts then I would look like a right prat!

i deleted it too..str8....didnt bother with him though.lol..

Hi Danny, Sorry to hear about you being ripped off again. Anyway, I came across this website while reading news articles on BBC. http://www.ic3.gov/ Apparently you CAN nail those nerfherders who conned you. If you're itching for payback, this might help.
FUZAKERUNA indeed!! That is why I don't want to shop online at all. I never trust random people's reviews because it may be posted by accomplices. Those scammers, I really would punch/kick 'em in the gut and pull all their nose hair, one by one. Or maybe headbutt them with their own helm. Hopefully you take it with sarcasm, saying that those are battle scars and all but also that you can repair all types of defects. Masterpece of art... Modern art that no one understands? Don't make me laugh. I just hope you recover from that event quickly. @ Sweej: Good find. Hope it's not a scam either. (Maybe I am paranoid, in fact)

The problem you have with all the props you buy is the fact you don't do much research, in the star wars props you buy. For the money you spent on your FX armor kit from costumejunky you could have had a suit from movie molds for less! that would fit you like a glove. aslo with the timeless props another Ebayseller that deals in Inaccurate GT junk. Not to be rude i am a prop collector my self. do a little shopping around. E-mail me if you want to see my trooper sometime.

Who ever sent that stuff should feel bad...its garbage...the helmet has solvent pop all over it..that was caused when they painted the helmet probably putting on too many coats at one time..which also caused that drip...I would send it all back ...looks bad!

I don't know if you still read this Danny, but, if you just wait a little longer! http://www.cbswords.com/product_info.php/cPath/38/products_id/232?osCsid=459e87db This costume was made from the original star wars movie mold! damn! looks nice!
