If you are a Macross, Ghost in the Shell, Eureka Seven, Aquarion or Patlabor fan and just happen to be around Tokyo between now and July 1st, you may want to get your booty along to Ginza where you can get a load of this 1/1 scale "Powered Suit Dualis" mecha designed by Shoji Kawamori who designed some of mechas in those anime series.

The mecha has been designed to promote a new SUV by Nissan called the Dualis.
The CMs on TV for the Dualis are rather cool and you can check them out at Pink Tentacle.

You can see the mecha at the Nissan Ginza Gallery from now until 13th June and at the Sony Building from the 25th June through 1st July. (get off at Ginza station on the Ginza line)

As expected, Mr. Kawamori pulled this mecha a dazzling success for Nissan.

I agree with Kenny that the girl is cute. I love everything about the power suit except for the upper arm which seems really off on proportion compared to the rest of the body.

Ah its good to see another 1/1 scale popping up. Maybe it is becoming more popular, so soon they may have a whole big musuem of 1/1 scale mechas ^_^

Unfortunately i wont be in Japan at that time, but if the big RX8 is still about near the end of August ill be sure to check that out xD

Hmm...i wonder if they are in need of a pilot ^_^

And I already thought it's be something against those spammers. I keep reading "buy dualis" the whole time in my spam box so yeah my confusion.

Well, if it was THIS Dualis though, I think I wouldn't mind mohahaha :D (I expect the power suit to live transform into the car, or I want a refund.)

Hello Mr Choo,

I chanced upon your site whilst searching randomly for gundam model kits and tutorials on how to improve on my kits.

Due to lack of knowledge on japanese, Hobby Japan Vol 11 is hard to understand and i can only rely on the picture.

I really love your site and is amazed by your modeling and photography skills.

You're the perfect role model!
With career achievement and more than 24 hours a day to do so many things and knowledges of so many languages at such a young age.

If you don't mind, i'll like to ask more questions on Gundam PG(s) but i cant find any emails to contact you. Please do contact me.

Would be funky if those mechas could finally be operational and maybe mass-marketed in a near future (and not used in wars). One step closer to our dreams!
