Seen pics of Rudy before but t'was the first time for me to have a good gander with me own mince pies.
Didnt think too much about this figure until the show but will now probably land on my buy list. For those who dont know, her eyes are full cast off @.@ - some picvs on AmiAmi somewhere whcih I cant seem to find now.
I still think Mirei-san is the nicest out of the Shunya Yamashita bunch though.

BTW/Off Topic, one of my end of year goals was to reach 20,000 unique visitors per day but I've already been getting that for the past few weeks. Setting a new stretch goal of 30,000 UU daily by end of year ^^;
The bad(ish) news is that I did not expect the incremental traffic to arrive so soon which is why you may be experiencing slow loading times. Currently working on new caching algorithms and hope to finish that this week.
I wrote some scripts to resize your avatars that appear on the top page to improve loading times. Managed to reduce avatars which were 40k down to 1k and shave off about 200k in total form the top page. If you are using a gif with transparency or animation - it may look odd for the top page only - avatars will be as you uploaded them for the rest of the site.
Do let me know if you have any other requests re navigation on the site.

It looks pretty good, but is she wearing a nut cup!?! Because it really looks like it...

Trent,
Nut cup! First time I heard of the term. I certainly hope shes does not have nuts. I see a load of Doujinshi that have girls with nuts - I dont understand it at all ;-;

"nut cup!" haha...I hope not also since I preordered the exclusive Blue hair version of her. She'll be my first Shunya Yamashita figure. Would like to try and find Rosanna as my second but no luck yet!

Character is cute (somehow). But seriously, can't they do proper hairs ? is it so difficult ? It look like they just mold stuff and think that anyway fians will buy whatever comes...

BeLe said, "what's a nut cup?"

It's a groin cup to protect males from getting hit in the groin (or nuts) worn when playing various sports or practicing martial arts. Also called a "athletic cup."

It's the first time I've heard it as a "nut cup" also. :D

And now that you mention it, it does sort of look like one... ^_^;;

Anyway, that's a cool figure... too bad my gf won't allow such figures in the house or it would be on my shelf. ^_^

looks real nice, Shunya Yamashita's illustrations are really jaw dropping and wickedly Amazing, however Rudy seems like kind of butch name for a fantastic figured figure. ^^

Danny, I totally agree with you, even if this one is OK, Mirei san is way better.
Next in my list is the non-non, and I also like what e2046 did with the Shion bust to make it a full figure.

セクシ!Thats a really nice figure. The figures designed by Shunya Yamashita, imo they are some of the sexiest figures out there. Rudy looks amazing however i have to say Mirei is still the best Shunya Yamashita work.

shunya yamashita is just an illustrator. a lot of sculptors has put thier own twists to his art work.

so far, my favorites has been from REFLECT

That figure is so gorgeous and sexy too.

But I think that this figure is expensive.

I have sera chan, and most of his other figures (Mirei-san, NonNon & shii arisugawa) are on pre-order. I love his art style, and his semi-realistic look is pretty unique in this world of cartoony anime figures. The eyes and faces on his figures are stunning too.
This fig is nice, but its not 'classy' enough and seems a bit of OTT titilation - the cast off proves that! Not sure how the boobs would look after cast off though - they are modeled so that they squash around the top...

hey this is a comment for the past post about airguns:

hey danny if you wanna check out the airsoft scene in the USA... a good site is AIRSOFT RETREAT... http://airsoftretreat.com/ full-metal replicas are most popular here in us.. and while the japanese 'tokyo-marui' maker is still somewhat popular here... its generally looekd down upon since they are all made of plastics. makers like 'classic army' and 'ics' only make full-metal guns ^^ i own a classic army G36K and a KWA gas blowback glock 18c (also full metal) =]

This is a lovely figure indeed. A perfect mix between lethal and sexy.
The pink pants are smlpy too hot and the BRA effect is absolute.
For me one of the best figure OO.

Gorgo,
BRA effect is indeed nice ^^;

Jason,
Thanks for the link.

Arekusu,
Depends on the maker - Mirei san is limited to Kotobukiya shops for example.

Frost,
Which one is that?

T Taro-san,

AndyH,
Her eyes are interchangeable ^^;

Alafista,
No - an illustrator.

But I recall seeing a figurine where she's holding her melee weapon the same way Rudy's holding hers in your photos.
