Man I wish I could find a model store like that. The few Hobby shops that are near me are mostly RC stuff with little in the way of plastic model supplies. I haven't been able to find a great shop online either, found several good ones but in order to get everything I need had to order from 3 or 4 different places. I may have to end up traveling to Sacramento or San Francisco to find some that even comes close to that store.
I could really use a trip to this shop right now, need to replace parts for my MG GPO2. It's the special paint version, so I might need to get the parts from Bandai. I can see a Ball! For some reason i want to build a Ball... ^^; The GPO2 kit was a gift so I really want to complete it so it can be seen. I've been lucky in the past and had pen pals - before I met my fiancee - who would get replacement parts for me. Although, a few times I have put kits aside and never finish building. ^^; For broken parts, I usually repair them.
it would be nice to be able to get spares here in ak, but no good shops.. i dont know if you seen this site before, but it sells models from japan as well as parts. HobbyLink japan; http://www.hlj.com/index.html parts for gunpla's are here; http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?MacroType=DetAcc&SeriesID=All&x=1&y=9&Dis=-2&GenreCode=Gun i might order from there later on, they got a good selection of gunpla.

Depending on how badly damaged the and what part it was, I may be able to salvage it with some welding glue or metal support pins. I have broken pieces in the past >.
oh yes i've lost model parts to the blackhole of my carpet.. usually have to deal with it not being there, steal it from my spares box ( for some reason bandai adds extras on there sprues) or scratch build it (no shops here in FL) If I would ever get a chance to go to japan, I would breing an extra suitcase just to fill with Gundams and figures
Oh man, if only we had a store even remotely similar to Gunpla heaven. My PG AEUG MkII only has one spare beam rifle E-pac due to me throwing out the pieces for the other by accident, and my Hyper Bazooka's handle just plain snapped off. And I won't even get started on the rest of my MG's... orz

uhmm... does this shop got a website or something I really need new parts for my MG Freedom Gundam ^^'
Does anybody know of a site that sells the water transfer decals online?
お店はイエローサブマリンのパーツパラダイスですね。 僕もMG シャア専用ズゴックのマーキングシールを 買ったことがあります。 同人誌は何を勉強?(*´д`*)
Hey danny, just wondering what exactly is the name of this store and how do I get there *assuming from the JR Akiba station...* I've been looking for a place like this for a long time :P
nvm ignore the previous question, just saw your directions :P
Reikai, A note from Yoshimu-san below - its Yellow Submarine Parts Paradise. Same building as the Kotobukiya store. よしむさん、 情報をありがとうございました! 同人誌は。。。エロ市場の勉強^^; Mambo, Some of the stores advertising on this site may carry them. War God, Yellow Submarine do have a store online but they dont sell parts AFAIK. Space Cowboy, I feel your pain.
hmmm... 私はガンダム命,けれども私の妻がいます,私は妻命です. ^^ nice gunpla parts store Danny, I've lost and broke a few gunpla parts myself. including my GP01's hands. ^^ I tried replacing them with my non grade 1/60 strike gundam's hands but to no avail. Anyway, try to get some more vitamin C to boost up the immune system. hope you don't get sick again Danny.
Perfect so far ^^. it would be really scary if i'd lost already parts. I'm just about to paint my first gunpla =)
btw that place sounds tempting :) might be worth visiting.
Whoa, i know what gunpla means too from genshiken. Thats a handy anime. Yea, people like look at my kits and like drop it by accident. Of course i get pissed but i cant do anything about it to repair it. If only it had some spare parts somewhere...
im in a whole different category, my PG Wing Zero Custom came with a pair of metal pieces that were the same one. had so the store had to send an order for a replacement all the way back in japan. i was so relieved when i got the replacement ^_^;;
Broken many, latest victim was the HGUC Hazel, the plastic elbow joint was supposed to look better, but it was so flimsy that it broke the first moment I moved it. 20 years ago I probably would scratch build the joint, but spare time is at a premium these days, so I'll likely bury it soon. Totally staying away from these from now on. Also disappointed that the MG are using more ABS parts and less p-cap/soft plastic for joints to supposedly strengthen the stance. It will be a big waste of money if anything on the Hi-nu broke...And please, Bandai, no unnecessary big box for those of us who have to pay shipping. Bitching ended.
Last thing I did was lost a couple of bits for my HG Hazel custom. Before that, the worst was breaking one of the fiddly arm pieces for my PG W-Gundam Zero Custom :( It would be nice if there were an easier way to get replacement parts!!
If I lived in Japan I would check the store out for the water decals. I messed up on mine a long time ago when I first started constructing gundams and tore up a lot of my water decals which is why some of my models aren't as good looking as they could be.
Looking at those pictures made me die a little inside =/ (no shops of that nature anywhere near Philadephia, PA) The most common parts I have broken are two piece hands and waist parts. If the damage isn't bad I usually repair the parts myself, but I am too careful not to permanently break anything, or else I couldn't finish the kit!
Dirty doujin?
Broken the finger and bazooka handle joint of my PG RX17-2 and the shield connection joint of my PG MSZ 006. i live in japan so i could order then again but im just too lazy. think i might check that shop out next time im in tokyo. thanks for that.
mmmmmm, sweet deliious gunpla action. ^^ ahaha water decals, i covered my strike rouge in them becuase i couldnt find the ice cream pink color i needed and was too lazy to make my own. (i also followed ur gunpla building guide to the letter) looking forward to seeing ur mg strike freedom and wing! i need to start on my strike freedom too. XD
I've broken and lost lots of parts. They usually get lost while I'm building the kit. Considering how I only build my gundam in my tidy room, I'm confused where all of them could have disappeared to. So far, I've ordered an extra rifle and hands from the PG strike to mod'd onto my other 1/60 models. I'm thinking about order the weapon systems from the 1/60 strike and mod them for the PG. Would be nice if we had a shop here...
Ken, A ghost? Wildarms, Not dirty at all - just ero ^^; Char, I hear you. Marvin, You Japanese is spot on!
I used to lose a ton of pieces, but now I made a little shell, so when I cut the peices out they don't fly all over the place...And on the subject of the MG Wing Gundam; I love that kit, but Is so rare where I live!! It's too bad too becuasuse it's a really loose kit...all the places move, but not how you want them to... :(

dude you are so lucky, I wish I had a store like that near me, with all the parts i need and order from HLJ I'm going broke. that store looks like a kitbasher's paradise.
u bought a wing zero custom, i got the same one, be careful the wings are kinda articulate and i broke a (m)peg and now i have one wing in a permanent position T.T

to the director danny ^^ uhmm... what do you mean with AFAIK??????
War God, AFAIK = As Far As I Know
どうもありがとうございますダニさん。

that store is awesome ... Ive misplaced parts, but I found them eventually ... Iv broken parts too ... =/

when you order new parts from bandai does it cost any money???
finally found this place on the weekend. I think its called "Yellow Submarine" but im not sure. No PG parts tho! rats! but the display of gundams was impressive. Beautiful Strike Noir and Akatsuki
oh and yeah it costs money to order parts over mail. i think it says 100 yen per part in the assembly guides. this place however sells whole bags of parts for 300 yen. but its hard to get the specific parts that you need it seems. just have to get lucky.
Too bad I live in the Philippines and can't buy those parts. I need to fix my brother's MG Strike Freedom's wings.

ahhhhhh~~~ swiish man! I never even knew Bandai would resupply some parts that broke! I just thought you had to go buy another kit! anyway just wanna say, I have that Gunpla kit you bought that day! and I've made a comparison that the American Wing Version of the Wing 0 Custom looks, firstly the shoulder armour's are really bulky compared to the EW one (which I have made my own custom version) and the EW version has yet to have a special coating model (even though its been about 7 years since EW came out). Have fun with the kit though!

it is my duty to go to that store the second I go to Japan (if I do). MG models are they cheaper in japan? it looks like they cost 20 dollars in this store..or am I insane?
Gosh that's insane, I wish there was a store like that down here in LA. I can't even find a decent model kit place let alone a good anime place with model kits other than seed......*sigh

Well. I live a long long way from Japan so getting to the store is not an option. I've searched on the net and can't seem to find a place where I can get replacement parts yet some of you apparently have via mail? How can I get a replacement part without having to resort to buying a whole new kit? Stace.

Danny, do they have any means of internet or mail service delivery at all? I wouldn't get parts for replacement per se, but for modifications and the like, they're vital. Especially if you're like me and are trying to convert older (F90) kits to MG standard. Do they sell whole 'trees' of parts? If they do (enough to literally build an MG inner frame with), then I'd be game to buy some...if I can find out how. (please email me privately, thanks!)

i really wish there's a shop like this here right now... I need a new pair of wings for my MG Freedom...mines' very loose for some reason =_=

uh... would you mind explaining how to order for gundam spare parts from bandai?
:O How useful!! I've broken atleast one part from each model I have lol. Is there ayway that we can pay you and you buy it and send it to us, Danny? Thanks!!

I just broke the faceplate off my strike noir MG in half ... i need help ... im goin insane ... someone tell me how to fix it!!!

i have lost a part in my MG full burst strike freedom ... can anyone teach me how to get it?
It's going to be very hard to get a (one) specific part from Bandai considering their all the way in Japan, I'm assuming when they manufacture their model kits and make extra trees of parts. And just send them to shops n' whatnot, best thing to do is either go to Japan and pick some up....or buy a whole 'nother kit. Which both would be a waist of time and money, so best advice is to be very careful when building/posing model kits. Don't be ashamed if you broke a part, cus it happens to everybody. We think models are action figures so we try to pose them n' whatnot like they are
If only they had a store like this is the US...then I might be able to experience Gundam Inochi. =P
can anyone tell me how to order spae pars from that shop plz??
Do, or anyone else, know where I can get spare Gundam parts? I screwed up painting the shield of a HG 1/100 RX-78 GP01Fb and need to get a new one. Thanks.
Danny, This is FH from Anime& Manga Horizon. My brother got MG destiny and he broke a small part cause too fragile. I was wondering if I can ask u to pop over the shop and buy parts for it. I know it's troublesome and normally busy people like you dont do this. But I'd ask anyway since my bro's pretty depressed. Hope u can reply.
I just hate it when I lose/break parts... It's just too hard to repair and it's hard to find spare parts here... I need to be in japan Naow!
Hmm Does this store send parts to US? I bought a PG Strike and it was actually missing one piece (part of the cockpit door) and it is impossible to get Bandai to send a response to an email. It's been about 2 weeks since I asked them if I could purchase a new part -.-
heaven...now I really am going to Japan. Wonder what I should do there. I want to spend my life there forever. I wish I was japanese!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be really nice and helpful if there is a online spare store.
