Looks at Candygirl's picture and goes "BARF!" River City Ransom style... ...Sorry. Couldn't resist...
Their eyes looks real soft and big as well! :p Buy one of those, lie on their eyes and go "萌え~!” ^__^
The Ami version looks much better in my opinion... but... No thanks still. *Slowly goes backwards before running away like he has seen some spook*
I'm imposing the Barbie law onto the Candy girls. It states that the proportions of the Barbie models are disproportioned to a point where she'd move like a lethargic sloth with bits of flesh strangling her circulation. In short, a Candy girl would probably be unable to walk in real life.
No matter how many times I see them, still "impressive, most impressive"! :)
i heard they use the hair/scalp from corpses when making these. Thats why the hair is so realistic and each one is slightly different from the other Haha scared the sh*t out of ya! But still, think about it...
awesome haha
i never really understood these things... maybe its because im a girl... my friend thinks they are hilarious. there is actually a DVD that released recently called "A PERFECT FAKE" that is a documentary on the obsession that is "candy dolls" i watched 15 minutes until it kinda got gross (not a hentai boys) ^^
Totally want one... >
No matter how attractive they look, candy girl seems a little creepy to me. That distant, vacant stare, the lifeless body... Gahh! Superb craftsmanship, but I wouldnt want one! A visit to the showroom would be.... intresting though. You want a candy girl, dontcha Danny..? Go oooon - you know you want to! Its a good job those showrooms are not open to the public for just anyone to visit at anytime - ive seen the state of that 'sample; Jumbo 'Mimi ball' in Lammtarra!
i wonder how they make the skin and flesh part *hmmm* the dolls are a bit freaky for my taste lol

Id rather go to a outdoor trance party ... Iv recently seen the size of the Japanese ones and Im extremely impressed!! I didnt know they are so into it .... but all that after I go to an anime expo!! that comes 1st .... (no time for Candy girl^^)
I'm one of the 37% who are IN LOVE with her. *hugs other thirty-seven percent'ers*
i wonder if anyone would dare to stay overnight in that room with the gates closed...O_O either: 1) scared to death 2) sexual fantasies accomplished...

These Candy girls aren't like the *lifelike* ones that are found in adult shops, are they? Like... the ones... that... you know what i mean.

Holy Sh**, they are for that... eek.
God these things scare me.
Hey Danny, More Candy Girl as you promised :) http://www.dannychoo.com/blog_entry/eng/813/East+VS+West+-+Games/ but somehow after looking at the pic it seems scary to be alone with all those dolls at night. It does have an uncanny look. But their series seems to have cover all various type of females...
I saw some life sized anime figures are they also pare of the candy girl series?
Wouldn't mind one of these around the house. Lots of LOL! and WTF! Would be so worth it! XD
OO...seems real, i'd like to touch it. But i'm also quite scared ^^, i do not think i'll managed a night with. .:G:.
Not sure I would go if I had only a week in Japan, but I do want to see one up close. One day, I will have to make an appointment to see them close-up. I find them interesting. Most people would say I'm an odd person anyway, so it's no surprise. I have no desire to own one. I'm sure it's how you feel too Danny. Although, it doesn't stop us from being curious.
I would rather stick to a real life girl. Although I admit I love the detail that these "dolls" are getting since it started and I'm pretty sure a lot of Japanese men are happy as well. I would stop by the showroom for maybe an hour to check it out though.
If I won a weeks trip for Japan, I would definetly hit all the major shrines and tourist attractions. I would head over to mount Fuji and spend some time around Tokyo. And of course.... An all out spending spree of at the minimum, 60,000 Yen in Akihabara on as many anime, gundam, and manga goodies as I can get ^^. One thing I always wanted to do was visit the beaches of Okinawa to see what they are like. I would also, at least once would like to ride the subway to at least see what it is like! Japan is the land of the weird and interesting, but I really have no interest in candy girl shopping (or candy girl on that note). I would definetly try and take in all Japan has to offer in 7 days though!!
Akiraman, The anime dolls are made by Orient too but not the same series. Jimmjerod, These dolls are made to keep you company ^^; AndyH, Yes!
can you help me? i want to have one i like it.

here there are some photographs about the fabrication process of these dolls http://blog.innerpendejo.net/2007/05/como-se-fabrican-munecas-candygirl.html

Hi Danny was wondering if the average joe could just pop into the Akiba showroom to check them out, or maybe get some photos of the lineup as well. Any idea?
Ok... Actuallly, candy girls scare me alot...
I would go just for the story and to maybe snap some pics. They are creepy :)
Wow, it does look creepy seeing them all together like that. But it's a yes and no if I want to check the Candy Girl Showroom. A Yes if there's someone who wants to go too...
This is the first time I see such a thing, fascinating...
That looks kinda weird, are the candy girls really popular? I'm not really interested in them, though if a full scale girl from [ insert eroge here] I would def take a closer look.
These things scare the crap out of me...
where to fine this place?
I always want to touch them. Really want to see how "real" they're. =P
The ones in the glass case are especially creepy to me.
hmm it remind me to chobits hahaha..
*Speechless* I never knew that there are dolls that look rea life like O_o;;
Those Candygirls really do look like real. I'm telling you if I bump by mistake or just see one on the street I'd take it fo the real thing! Interesting idea though. If I were in Tokyo I'd visit the gallery for sure.
I have two questions though:
1/ What's the purpose of those Candygirls?
2/ Can you hunk them?
You know, I saw on Euro News some guy(think it was Japanese but not sure) working on an android. It looked just like him, that seemed to be the idea. But it looked like you too, Danny! ^_^
I can see the future! the Robotics are going to advance so much taht people are going to start looking for artificial partners! Sex between humans will become an even biger tabu!
