Mirai gets her own Anime!

The reason was because I wasn't given permission - until now. I was given permission yesterday to announce it, Mirai-chan is to star in her own anime scheduled to air this December!
The anime is entitled "Mirai no Mirai" (未来のみらい) which translated means "Mirai of the future" (I know it sounds odd in English ^^;). The setting is as follows...
Mirai Suenaga is not what she seems. To the average Jon Doe, shes just an average school girl but what the viewer knows is that shes actually from a different time and dimension. Mirai came to Earth in the year 2009 from her home planet called Sorunia which exists in a fissure of time and space...
Back in Sorunia one day, Mirai's younger sister Kako goes missing. Mirai chances upon Kako's HoloMessage ( a device used on Sorunia to record and play hologram messages ). A playback of the final recording shows Kako being lead through a TimeStep by a stranger dressed in white known throughout the anime (up until episode 12) as Shiro Otoko (白男). A TimeStep is a portal which allows one to travel through time and space. Sorunia beings can only travel through a TimeStep twice in their lifetime. A third attempt though a TimeStep renders that person held forever in a loop in time and space called Mujitai (無時帯). The TimeSteps play an important role in this anime.
Mirai uses the same settings that Kako used when she walked into the TimeStep and ends up on Earth 2009 to arrive at the same time and place as Kako and Shiro Otoko.
Mirai is wearing her Meisai Gear at the time which is always handy as a brief battle ensures with Shiro Otoko. Meisai Gear (迷彩ギア) is a battle suit worn back in Sorunia with a transparent camouflage unit built in.
Shiro Otoko ends up loosing the battle and flees the scene. Mirai is reunited with Kako momentarily before Mirai sends her little sister through the TimeStep back to Sorunia. Mirai stays behind in 2009 determined to find out why Shiro Otoko brought Kako to this time and dimension.
Mirai doesnt know anything about Earth's civilization however and decides to go to a nearby high school to learn from the locals. Mirai makes many friends at school (who all happen to be Bishojo characters ^^;) and also meets a guy called Fuyuki who cant stop thinking about Mirai but has not go the guts to tell her.
As the 14 episodes unfold, we see a group of 12 beings from Sorunia who come to Earth 2009 in an attempt to stop Mirai from finding Shiro Otoko...
Below are just a taster of the anime storyboards or Econte (絵コンテ).
Below: Episode 2. Mirai bids her friend Sayaka goodbye after school and makes for a nearby alley where she hides her Meisai Gear - you can see her changing in the last cell ^^;
Mirai panics as she hears Fuyuki's voice. She quickly does up her zip and switches her Meisai Gear to camouflage mode.
The last cell shows Fuyuki looking down the alley as he says that he could have sworn that he saw Mirai...
I have been told however that I can show you a preview before it goes on air - keep your eyes peeled this December!

Wow, what can be said but... CONGRATULATIONS! You certainly must be excited, not to mention proud. I'm most curious not so much about the series itself (although I'm sure I will be), but more so about the role you're playing/did play in its production, and the road from conception, to pitching, to production. Of course, the fact that you haven't said any of that means you're almost certainly not allowed to talk about those details, but I look forward to hearing more!

To be an april fool, it have to be believable, but groteque and in fine, funy against those who believed it. But... knowing the entrepreneurial sid of DC, the fact that it's not grotesque un any way, and finally if it's a joke it's sad for it not to happen but not funny in any possible way, then I hope it's true. WOW!!! This Mascot of yours is turning into a bit of a celebrity, just like you :P I can't wait to see this anime, it sounds so cool, and quite random, which is always a good thing xD And if it becomes popular, then i guess we could expect to see alot of figures fromt he series :)

well, regarding the vote here...I cant agree with any of them surely. because I am an optimist Half of me wants to go back into the past either to make sure that I was never born or to a moment in the past where something i said & done could have made a real big difference to the present day, so the negative side of me is making sure I was never born, on the positive note. If it were possible to meet a version of me from an alternate time line or way way ahead in the future (if I actually lived that long which I pretty much doubt) then that would be so much weight off my shoulders as he would be able to answer all my questions & put my mind at rest...but because only 1 of us can exist at any given time we'd fight & try to kill each other I always have a dream where Im fighting the exact spitting image of myself & I always end up losing & getting killed because for some reason he is stamina is way abouve mine even tho we are the same person . I cant keep fighting as long as he can -.-' so yeah...that is my choices & yes I know I need mental help!

you wrote something about an "average John Doe". You are mixing something up here - there are two things - first a "John Doe" is somebody who can not be identified. If somebody is brought to a hospital and can not answer questions about name, age et cetera, the chart will have "John Doe" in the name fields or "Jane Doe" if it's a woman. What you most likely wanted to express was "average person, not different from you and me or anybody" - such a person is called "average Joe", the average citizen - which is close to another expression, the "ordinary Joe" which is stands for the "little man".
