Sorry for missing a post yesterday - was my last day at Microsoft and had to finish up a load of stuff.

The final installment for this years TAF report - figures. I think you've seen most of these in my previous Wonfes report but spotted a few new ones like Light from Death Note.
This first figure is Manami from Manabi Straight. I'm not usually into loli which is why I didnt watch this when it first came out but started to watch when I noticed that many of you had Manabi Straight in your "Anime Currently Watching" field.

Curious to see how I could be interested in a loli anime, I watched the first episode and loved it. The quality of animation, use of color, music, story line and direction was just great. Very much recommended indeed. More in YouTube.

Now that I've seen the anime I want the figures too. The one of Mika and Manami standing together is on the buy list.

BTW, I'm opening up registrations at Figure.fm again. The registration window will be open for a limited amount of time whenever you see the "registrations open" message at the top of the screen.
There will be people who have nothing better to do other than post unrelated stuff but just ignore - will delete.

Oh, I like those Code Geass and Fate/Stay Night figurines!

The Shinigamis from Death Note are even scarier under this form.

From which series is the girl with the sailor fuku and the pair of katanas? It's really a cool-looking one. Thanks!

There isn't much figurines compared to WF, probably because they released most of it there :)

The figurine in picture 8515.jpg is really nice, can't remember the name of the chara though.

Super Deformed Mabinogi Nao looks really cute.

Manabi Straight isn't a Loli Anime - the characters are in high school. The art style is definitely on the cutesy side and makes them look younger, but they aren't anymore loli then the girls of Evangelion age-wise.

Can you tell me about Sakurahime and Juomaru from Plawres Sanshiro? Are these two figures belong to Microman series? If not, which company release these figures? When is the release date?

What catches my eye here is the Uchuu Senkan Yamato and...

Sylvanian Families! :D hehe

Q1: Who is the manufacturer of that ARIA figure? pics 8523-4

Q2: What series are the girls from in pic 8567? They are wearing some sort of pilot armour? with red bikinis and blue crash helmets one of them is sipping a drink through a straw, the other is saluting.

@Gordon Pekeur
I think Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles has been released.

@Steady
If you don't consider Manabi Straight to be loli. I would hate to see what you think deserves to be called loli.

Q3: What series are figures in pics 8549-8550? They are poseable figures suspended on single rods to, presumably, give the impression of flying. She is wearing pink armour bits. He is wearing white top, blue trousers with red armour bits.

Anyone know? :]

This is your answer for question 3. She is Sakurahime and he is Juomaru from Plawres Sanshiro. It was a manga from the early 80's. It has an anime series too. I'm so surprise this company release these figurines after the manga ended 20 years ago.

Thanks, Red October!

I must say, I like the fact that the toy/figure companies are returning to older series and producing nicer products with modern production techniques. For instance the Space Battleship Yamato model, and the Space Runaway Ideon robot.

I hope they will spread this to other "forgotten" series.

@Matt

Seen Ichigo Mashimaro much? Not only are the girls "lolier" than in Manabi Straight, they are actually about 9 years old too (beside 1 older one). That enough for you?

Not too sure about loli, its legal status outside Japan kinda confuses me.

Its a nice figure though.

Wouldnt mind getting a hold of the 'Neige' figure from Shing Tears. Will keep an eye out for that.

EagleEye,
Yeah, its status has been especially confusing in America, I'm not very caught up about UK though. There was a recent bill enacted that made [sexual] representations of minors illegal, which would include drawings, but that was somehow shot down..in some way...maybe. It's all very confusing to me too, but it doesn't really matter since lolikon isn't such a big deal to me either way. Shows like Manabi or Ichigo Mashimaro are definitely not against any laws in either country, though. There's nothing objectionable in either besides the obligatory small panty flashes.

Hmmm - the alter/good smile crew

Baka, Subaruhess,
Its quite small - Didnt see whether it was a kit or pre made. Maybe it was made just for the show?

Bayonette,
Sorry - not sure about that one.

I really like the Shana figure. It's the best I've seen... I had on pre-order the Moeart Shana but after seen this upcoming figure I just decide to cancel it. Also that Pakira fig looks awesome, but still not sure if I'm going to get it.

And about Manabi, I watched the first episode and thought it was really good, but not enough to keep watching.
