Zero no Tsukaima is just too cool - hilarious, well animated, great BGM, tons of Moe and Bishojo characters together with a good plot. If you haven't checked out this anime then have a rummage around YouTube to see what its like. Personally, my fave character is Siesta though.

Being 1/8 scale, the size of Louise alone makes her cute. The hair is not as pink as I would have like it to be - should have been pink as in the anime but looks kinda faded.
The stockings, shoes and cloak seem somewhat shiny - dont know why they done that. What I do like is that you can take Louise off her ladder and stick her on top of your LCD display. Why I guess you can even stick her on your shoulder just like this guy.
The cast off feature is not enabled by default and requires some hacking - meaning that you need to just pull hard ^^; Not being able to remove the cloak is a pain though.

Big thanks to HobbyStuff4U for the sample ^^;
Folks who are interested can get Louise at HobbyStuff4U with a 5% discount when you mention "dannychoo.com" in the notes field.

She looks better sitting on your monitor than the ladder. I agree, the hair should be more vivid and the stockings should be flat. Although, I'm still tempted to get this figure.

I too prefer Siesta. If there was a figure I would buy in no time.

What a coincidence, I just started watching this last week! For those who don't know, Zero no Tsukaima is like animated Harry potter geared towards a seinen audience. The character design is indeed excellent

Though I haven't seen nor heard of the series, that's a very nice figurine you have there Danny. She does look good on top of your LCD screen. :P

BTW, why don't you have a picture of her on your shoulder? :P

I have this Louise as well, but I don't find it amazing, especially being an Alter product. But she is cute none the less.

What I find awesome in Zero no Tsukaima is all those reference to Europe History and Georgraphy.
All those great names from the XVII and early XVIII century. Scenarists did a very nice job mixing all of these. And that make me laugh a lot when I heard that "Tarbes" was Siesta town, since the real Tarbes isn't far from where I live ^^

ZnT rocks !

Seems to be a nice figure from the looks of it. Being on a ladder looks kinda off though. It's good you can take her off the ladder and put her somewhere else. :D

Haven't been having enough time recently to finish this anime. I should get back to it within a few weeks from now.

I love Zero No Tskaima and i love that figurie even more. Funny thing is I ALMOST placed an order for it yesterday. Still trying to decide between it and a super-cute Asuka Langley figure.

I love figures that are sitting because you can put them on so many different things that a standing figure can't. Though if I got this figure, I might leave her on the ladder just because it's a rarity for Alter to have something other than a plain disc for a base. I might get her if she's still around during convention season.

I thought that "Zero no Tsukaima" was surprisingly good. This is coming from someone who has a severe love-hate relationship with Iwasaki-san directed series in general. Oh. シエスタも大好き! =P

The figurine looks okay. It could be better. Of course, I want a Siesta one instead. =P
