I guess its better late than never. This for for those looking some some coolsome anime to watch.
Code Geass has been on air for just over two months now but I'm sure you can get previous episodes from yer trusty BT site. You can also get new episodes for free at Biglobe without subtitles.

The Britanian Empire thought that it should do what all empires do best and invade Japan with their legion of mechas called Nightmare Frames. "Japan" was too difficult to pronounce so they named it "11" and refer to the Japanese as "11's".
A Britanian called Lelouch is tired of all these shenanigans and wants an end to all of this. He chances upon a girl called C.C. who endows him with a power that just may help him...

The animation quality is top notch and I hope that it stays that way as I have noticed that the quality of many anime series tend to drop after the first 10 episodes. This is most likely due to cost reasons - the first batch are high quality and get the punters in - once they are hooked then serve them a pile of cold veal - they wouldn't mind because they are already hooked.

The music is gorgeous with what sounds like orchestral tracks. While many anime have dull moments in between, Geass is interesting to keep you glued to the screen for the whole 23 mins or so per episode.

The mechas look cool and if you liked Eureka Seven then Im sure you'll like these machines - they kinda look similar in design. Have not looked into the background of the production team but Code Geass and Eureka feel similar.
One of the things that makes this anime enjoyable to watch is the amount of cute girlies in it. Shirley Fenete, Millay Ashford, Kallen Stadtfeld and C.C are all most cutesome. I do prefer Kallen with her hair down though.

Have a look at the OP at YouTube to see if you like.

I like the storyline as well, you can enjoy watching it daily.

Since you didn't include Euphemia in your poll, Danny, I'll go with Kallen since I like her 2nd to Euphie. I think its interesting seeing CLAMP designs in a mecha anime. I didn't think I'd like this show at first, but after the first episode I was hooked. I love the Lancelot mech and Lelouch is an interesting character.

Its popularity exploded quite recently, and quickly turned into a hot series. It is similar to seed destiny for sunrise's involvement but the story line/characters are much better. Clamp animation is pure quality. But the extent they went to animate pizza hut into it I dont understand.

The Revolution, brought to you by Pizza Hut.

Well, I guess I'm going to be the lone voice in the crowd who doesn't really like this series. I wanted to but, just really couldn't get into it. Even after 4 or 5 episodes. Part of it is that this time around, I didn't like the CLAMP designs. Everyone, especially Lulu, looks like they're Roswell-type gray space aliens wearing skin suits. Does that make me a bad person? ;_; I hope not

Uuuuuugh! I just can't chose a favorite! ^o^ As always, the ladies of CLAMP don't disappoint. Each of their characters designs have something special. Hai hai, great music with coolsome mecha and CLAMP! I've always wondered what a CLAMP story would feel like with a Gundam twist... Guess I have my answer now.

Danny have you checked out the Kotobukiya shop in Akiba yet?

the common thing between Code Geass and Eureka 7 is the producer of both series, Seiji Takeda. He also produced Blood+, Full Metal Alchemist, Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny.

i don't know why Sunrise took CLAMP for the character design. maybe Sunrise wants to grab the female market niche since there's a low percentage of female fans for the mecha genre and we're taking about CLAMP here XP. with CLAMP's bishie designs and large possibility of fanservice (Yaoi pairings anyone? XD)

No offense, I don't think CLAMP automatically equates lots of female viewers. CLAMP is capable of many styles, Chobits being a good example. I'm by no means a big of CLAMP fan, and yaoi makes my skin crawl. However, I do like enjoy the unexpected. Who would have expected CLAMP creating character designs for a mecha series.

CLAMP only did the character design. Everything else, including mecha design and storyboard, was done by Sunrise.

So it's not exactly CLAMP-style Gundam. Personally I can't stand CLAMP stories, so it's just as well.

@D_Blade you say Lelouch is different with other guys in shounnen series but i think he is like a clone of "Kira" Raito Yagami .Especialy the way they got trapped in the their own power.
This anime is so good that i cant stop screaming when i see the delay notice at the end of ep 23
Anyway there already have promo for the next eps , i can hardly wait
