I always enjoy the ad posters I see in Japan. Since I'm a train enthusiast, I always see many of them when in Japan. Some I wish I could take down, roll up and enjoy at home. ^^; It's a shame we can't get hold of some of these posters. Especially since many are printed on high quality papers and vinyl now. If one had a large studio or loft, just think what you could do...

i could never steal... do scared to get caught and plus it is not right! but then at times, you do what you gotta do

How did you manage to steal the poster from the bus stop? I have been tempted on a few occasions, but the plastic seems impenetrable short of actually smashing it with a brick I guess.

I noticed that the most mundane of japanese posters look ace - this one at Akibahara station was one of my faves: http://www.btinternet.com/~chunglist2/Images/Tokyo_Sept-2006/DSC01774_Akihabara.JPG Just what you want to see when waiting for a train! Danny - Please tell me what the advert is for! Its ace! PS - where has the orange-ness gone from the top page?

Steal? Me? Never :P. Im with the other guy, you cant get them off cause they are stuck on too hard, and if you pull to hard they rip.

i would steal those anime posters. they would look nice as a wallpaper in my room :)

yah i stole before, got caught and had to pay $325, and i am banned from the target in warwick, yah i was young and stupid

Hey Danny nice posters, when Star Wars Episode 3 was premiered in my country there were posters in the bus stops and i couldn't resist the temptation to steal a very cool darth vader poster. Hey Danny bring back the orange please.

Stealing ? Well is it stealing to get advertisement posters (with nice lady like Laetitia Casta ), that will be thrown away the week after ? Not a big crime in my book. Then again I never got caught, so I don't really know what I would risk...

Hi Danny, Is there a way to change the site back to the old orange colour scheme?

From left to right: HMX-17a Ifla from ToHeart2 Ayu Tsukimiya from Kanon Saika S. Farnese from Pastel Chime Continue Saber from Fate/stay night Feena Fam Earthlight from Yoake Mae yori Ruri-iro na As Danny would put it, those are naughty games. :P

looks like you've been busy with some new features with your site Danny. can't wait til its ready. ^^

Most poster ads I see are usually sticked with very sticky tape or something. Even if you try removing them slowly (I tried a few times myself :P) they tend to get ripped. I love the posters in japan though. Wouldn't mind taking one home for myself. Imagine your room full of those. :D

You know...I dont think ive ever stolen anything! oO at least not that I can remember *shifty eyes*

That billboard with Saber and Feena, etc., is real? Far out!

Anime Ad in the subway ?! That's cool !^_^

cooooooool posters, I wish we had massive anime posters like U guys do!! I got drunk a few years ago and I stole a really nice chair out of a mall.....I still have the chair!!

I've never stolen in my life. Been tempted all the time, but I never have. Wish we had those kind of posters in the USA up in the subways of New York City! Of Course, Hollywood rules that scene so its likely we won't see any. Good stuff though, thanks for sharing!

I've stolen once, but I don't think anybody notice since nobody around was crazy enough to mess with an armor-clad individual with a set of swords, knives and other medieval implements of death and destruction strapped to his back. Even the police backed off. Neat...

I'm not sure if blog comments are admissible in court, but I swiped a few traffic cones once. ^^ had them with me for a while but my grandmother took them to keep motorcycles from parking on front of her garage. ^^
Marvin, May be admissible ^^; XYZPDQ, if you've been tempted then its only a matter of time ^o^ Gordon Pekeur, A chair! Super rats, For real it is *^-^* DarkMirage, 相変わらず詳しいね^^ I in Melbourne, Jonathan, Not yet - maybe soon. Andy, Its for a monthly comic. Rongmomo, It was kind of already open ^^;

Those posters are a whole lot better than what we see in the D.C. metro stations . . . .

I'm not the stealing type, but if we had posters like that in the States and no one was around I would seriously be tempted ^^

hmm... I wonder how big is the biggest poster in Japan...

digital mural size posters of famous celebrities from the NTT Docomo commercials could be a profitable internet business for NTT Docomo. NTT may like the idea of licensing the images to SONY. SONY can exclusively promote mural size display monitors with the NTT internet service to display digital mural wallpapers as a new product with Windows Vista with any mural size display monitor.
hehehe.. I'd love to steal the second poster but I'm not one to steal.. >_
I stole a Stop sign once, but I replaced it with one I made with a spray bomb and some cardboard. (safety first). a friend of mine stole the letter P from the police station. it's been gone for 2 years, he's thinking of trying to put it back without being caught. That would be front page news here.
When I was an brainlees kid, I steal a few things on supermarkets, until I was caught. Since that day, I never steal again a single thing... Don`t you think is better that anyone can enjoy of such beautiful posters, why keep all the beauty for yourself? :)
Wow, it seems that my wallet isn't safe from you guys... LOL, just joking... I too have stolen, an eraser from my friends pencil case, beat that! LOL
