I didnt expect yesterdays Bishoujo Figure Convention to be a big event but when I got down to the venue I was surprised to see tons and tons (and tons) of people lining up.

Quickly delt with the press pass shenanigans and went straight in to find... not much at all. I was amazed that thousands(?) of people turned up for an event with only a handful of stalls which included Kotobukiya and Good Smile. This event seemed to be more of a get-your-grubby-mitts-on-booty thing than a fully fledged figure show.

They did however have some nice figures which you will see further on in this report.

Got home rather sleepy to find Zelda and Monkey Ball waiting for me - spent the night playing as a film crew came over to do some shooting. No rest for the wicked.
BTW, I'm aware that you know your figures so am only writing blurb about some of these.

Dont forget to check out Shingo and Monpuchi's site for their coverage of the event too.

Due out in the middle of next year is this figure of Ryuna from Max Factory - Me want!

Seen the pre-release info for this figure of Peace@Pieces Nagi but didnt pre-order until I saw her at the event and promptly came home to order on Amazon ^^;
Have no idea who she is, what she does but who cares when figures get this cute.
You can find this figure at Amazon.

As I mentioned earlier on - I think this show was more of a buy-stuff rather than to display stuff which could have been the reason why the lighting was lousy - hence bad pictures. Probably the worst set of pics I have ever taken at an event.

Haruhi? Orange? I find it sacreligious that human eyes can even see haruhi's undies! Despite her ridiculously short skirt, you NEVER saw them in the anime! There should just be a blank void up there!
I quite like the figure on pic '6408' whaterer it is, though id like that max factory harui the most. Shame its like gold dust!

I seen a slight disapproving glance about Win-chan when my fiancee was here this week. I will be treading lightly until I'm sure how she really feels. Thanks as always Danny for the coverage. Hi Danny~

I'm trying to track down those nice Arin figurines you have in your photos; the ones with the three alternates.

Was wondering if you could give me some information on the company that is manufacturing them and a release date?

I'm guessing Solid Theater atm (because of HLJ) but I just want to confirm.
