Ah, the joy that is the Tokyo Night. How I long to go back. Until then, will have to settle for some of the local nightscapes.

Thanks for the posting the pictures, they help with spurring the desire to learn Japanese and to find a way to get over there.

Speaking of wallpapers, is there any chance you can offer some of these as higher resolution photos? :)

Since I searched and low and could not find an email address, I have resigned to leaving you a comment: Thanks for the linkage. I really appreciate it! It feels good being noticed. Also, those are some nice photos, as usual. I do like the figure ones more, though :3

Ah the famous Shibuya crossing and the 3 Starbucks coffee shops IIRC. I never got a chance to goto Shibuya ta night time, perhaps next time.

cool pictures as usual Danny, however seeing some of them makes me regret not getting a wide angle lens for my eos as well. ToT. btw having categoized see all post was an extremely excellent idea. it makes trying to find a particular post so much easier. kudos Danny. ^^

Wished I were there :-( Cool pics - i like the fish-eye lens action. You must either have a great camera or a really steady sniper hand to get good night shots like those. Most of my shibuya pics came out crap at night unless i took some diazepam and found a good sniping spot!

Damn, I really need a super Wide angle like this ! Your pictures are beautiful Danny :)

oh wow ... just today when i was glancing at the photos when I realised u have actually good shooting techniques ... lol

Japan is sooo bright during the night!!! *dizzy*

and yeah, good angles there. maybe you could work as a photographer?

Ah. Very nice night shots of Shibuya. Full of life and energy. I like the taxi shot :)

Beautiful pics and well taken too! The place looks so much more lively than over here at night with the collage of lights, displays and crowds! Must visit Japan one day! ところで、コメントに何のゲームをやってるとかを加えたらいいかも知れませんね!

how did u take that picture for the last one o.O on the elevator?

very nice danny! more reasons to travel to japan! :-)

Sorry this is off topic, but just find this while using the random feature in the Old-computers.com museum: A Bandai computer named after Gundam RX-78: http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?st=1&c=478

Well done Danny! Thanks for the pics. I prefer Shibuya by night compared to Shibuya by day. The light accentuates night life. Guess that's because I'm a night person. ;) And you can see a promo bus/truck? of "death note" in one of the pictures. Yes, I'm a DN fan. Very cool!

I'm planning on going to japan soon with my friend and looking at all your pictures just want me to go even sooner. By the way, do you know any cheap places where we could stay for two weeks and any "must see" places?

Geb, Dont know about a place to stay - a Tokyo Hotel search should bring up some results - sorry. Re places? Akihabara, Akihabara and maybe Akihabara ^o^ The_Woz, Hi! Nice find. You into C64 stuff? I used to have the C64 - brown round one and the later white one - both died ^^; http://remix.kwed.org/ (great c64 music mixes) Chrno, We stayed there for a while and was taken from the floor that we were on. Kyoji, Yes! I've had that idea for a while but need a bit of time to implement it - coming soon and thanks for reminding me. Radical anime fan, May consider it for extra cash ^^; AndyH, Took most of the shots with an ISO setting of 1600 - but theres a load of noise though. Marvin, Thanks. Wanted to expose previous posts and make things easier to find within just a few clicks. Micke Lundh, More soon! Wildarmsheero, NP. You are a great artist. Andy, When the wallpaper script is ready, I will choose some and you can choose the resolution of choice.

wicked pix......cant wait to go there and see it ith my own eyes though!! I have a few pix that my GF sent me when she was there..... all it did was make me wanna go there RITE AWAY!!

Nice night life photos Danny. I always enjoy them. When you have time look at shko_2005(mako)-san's blog. http://blog.goo.ne.jp/shko_2005 A fellow EOS KISS DX user. I'm a wallpaper junky. ^^; Usually I have a file of about 20 photos for wallpaper at any given time.

I love those policemen pictures the most. Mostly because of the combined blur motion and stop motion. Nice combination of blur motion in the back. You should do stock photography. Hehehe
it's killing me... wish this year I'll be standing there

Really nice pictures.
Shibuya by night is too crowded for me. I like the last photo showing the overhead shot of shibuya. Cool!!!
shibuya is a great place, but i've recently read Sosakusha by Jiro Taniguchi, in this manga Shibuya look like tha place of silly guys. I know that is a place for young, but everybody are stupid?? I see also that in shibuya young gal go with old man...this is sad
I like the pic with the police officer in it...
Danny, those pics of Shibuya were awesome! You took them last year so I'm wondering what your photography level is at now. Either way, Shibuya is fun to view from afar and up close and personal. People watching in that area is FUN. It's just a huge pool of people (girls too) and it's so safe. Just find a place to relax at a cafe and watch people in Shibuya at that crossing. Comparing this to Los Angeles, it's a OK view from afar and can get dangerous when you're walking around the streets at night.
Looks nice in there.
Very nice pics. Wish to be there someday ...
Excellent pics, looking forward to being there in person next month.
Awesome pics! I love Shibuya, anyone been to the chandelier bar there? absolutely amazing place!
